Easy to install, last year's info available, easy to print/PDF and easy to file. I've used Turbo Tax for years with great success. Need to be able to print parts of return as you go. More info in Turbo Tax on deleting bad pages and starting over without relying on bad info on the web.

Overall I am satisfied. Next year's estimated tax preparation should be made more easily found instead of being relegated to 'Other tax situation' in the Federal and 'Other forms' in the New York State. The New York State version also oddly allows scheduling of only one estimated tax, instead of the required four. That is my reason of giving you only four, instead of five stars.

I have had great experience with TurboTax until this year when I couldn't file electronically because my wife took some online classes at the University of Phoenix and the 1098-T had the address of the University in Arizona where it is located but we live in Texas and because the zip code of the University is not in Texas, it would not let me file electronically.

My wife and I have filed using TurboTax for many years now (I'm 75 years old, I don't remember how long). We've never had any significant problems (I did have one question from the IRS on something years ago, a mistake on my part I think, about something associated with my wife's disability as I recall, that was resolved by phone), never been audited... I have found TurboTax easy to use, very straightforward, very knowledgeable and accurate. If a person/family is like ours - simple, normal, honest, etc etc - TurboTax is an excellent tool for filing taxes.

The changes you made to Turbo Tax made my process longer. Maybe it was me and my age but it took a lot more time to go back and review and figure out what was happening. I ended up with many extra tabs from my broker after downloading his forms and had to go back and clear out half of them. Who knows why.

Seemed ok in the beginning. I filed my taxes with email refund return. Never heard a word from anyone other than the returns were accepted. I checked on the status of the return and my desktop icon for TT 2024 wanted me to start over. Couldn't find the completed return?? Finally dug it out of a file but had to resubmit because there was an unfound error in the way I reported my RMD which wasn't detected at the time.

I'm not happy with the spam emailing acting like something went wrong and I need to login to fix then when I pull it up when I get home its fine?? The process is a little clumsy and it's hard to navigate. I had to use the form search function multiple times. Also, it shows 0 help with my older kids who still live with me that I saw no benefit at the end at all. I might just pay next year with a tax agent to make sure things are ok.

E-filing Federal Return from Taiwan went smoothly. However, unable to file Hawaii State Return. The pop-up error message reads: "It looks like we're hitting a snag. Try again or come back later." Underneath the pop-up message, another message states that "the payment didn't go through" which was obvious because I never reached the point where I enter any credit card information. Unfortunately, I'll have to pay to fedex the return from Taiwan to Hawaii

Desktop App is terrible, not recommended for new people. I saved it in a custom folder, the app. was unable to find the saved document. I spent two hours trying to find the saved document. As for the rest of the app. it is ok if no better tax software is available. I'm using turbo tax for the past 25+ years. there are still room for UI improvement.

Software is great and made filing my taxes easy. The difficult part was finding a way to print my return. I kept getting stuck in the "preview" return but couldn't actually print it. Time to close the software and reopen it and hope i am able to print a copy.
