I have used TurboTax for decades at this point. It is a trusted and valued software program for doing my taxes. I would like to see an improvement that if a state doesn't have state income taxes, confirm the payer's state, then if no tax requirements, don't keep asking to start state return or submit it.

Electronic payment fee not accepted for my credit card until I used one I did not wish to use. The form on the turbo tax deluxe did not work properly and on line help unable to resolve. Apparently very poor technology on filing tax return. I used this filing method for over ten years and this is the first time your technology was unable to use for on line filing.

Terrible software experiences this year and for the first time ever, I had to file an amended return due to a Turbotax error. The instructions for completing the amended return were horrible. I had to research on my own and phone a friend in order to complete a task that shouldn't have been necessary.

I've been using TurboTax about 20 years. I've never had an issue, but had several this year. Some questions were not asked in the EasyStep, then appeared as an error, or were simply not answered on the IRS copy. I hope to see the inconsistencies and flow improved next year.

PRODUCT IS GARBAGE. YOU HAVE AN OUTSTANDING SNAG MESSAGE FOR 2 YEARS. i HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR OVER 20 YEARS WITH OUT AN ISSUE. BECAUSE OF THIS i WILL USE ANY OTHER PRODUCT WHICH DOES NOT STOP AT THE END WITHOUT BEING FIXED. Except for removing ItsDeductible, it was an easy to use experience like previous years with clear information and walk-thru details, compatible with Windows, and very accurate. Removing ItsDeductible from TurboTax was such a giant mistake. This was a valuable feature that allowed loyal users to easily take care of itemized deductions with ease. That is no longer the case and TurboTax made this part of the experience so extremely difficult I'm considering other tax application options for next year.

TurboTax easily install with frequent updates throughout the tax season. The question stems can be confusing at times. The guidance/help topics are of limited value. Might be better to make a query on an AI site. Would be nice to see how some of the aggregated numbers from forms/schedules are calculated by double-clicking on the number on the form of a statement of where the value originated from.

As you have included Audit protection We have for many years used your application, only when we used it for NY DELAWARE and the federal taxes several years ago did we have a bill from NY as your application did not compute it correctly. Otherwise for years has been fine!

Getting worse each year... stop the sales pitching and do the work to make taxes easier by giving more options like filing jointly is worse that filing married separately or carrying student as dependent is not wise let them carry themselves for Opportunity Credit. Stop using AI and use plain old human brain power.

TurboTax created frustration in the process often when the situation slightly complicated. I have no choice to keep with TurboTax since it is the only software I have been used for many years. If you just are starting to pick the tax return software, I suggest you explore the different software before you lock with one app.
