All went smoothly with the deluxe version, including ability to file a K1 form and sales of securities. One minor problem, it was hard to figure out how print just the forms that were actually filed. I tried several things, all of which wanted to print all 79 pages including worksheets and other info. Not sure who would want to print all of that, finally found what I was looking for in File -> Print... This was easy to find in past years, would recommend not hiding it as it appears for 2025.

I am a long time user of TurboTax and in the past have given it a 5 star rating each year. However this year i can only give it 3 stars because of issues with it. After I completed entering my information under the Federal tab, I then had the app do a review for any errors. It came back with 177 items that needed data. The vast majority of these items (107 ish) needed the "Is this a digital asset?" question answered. I had to manually select No for each item even though I answered No to the Cypto currency question earlier. The remaining items were missing personal data that should have been imported from my financial institution. Finally, typing my review in this box has been annoying. The highlighted suggested review topics above keep changing as I type causing text to not be displayed. I've had to go back and add the missing text numerous times.

My taxes are fairly straight forward with single income. The amount of sales pitch I'm subjected to while completing my taxes is getting to be outrageous. I've used TurboTax for 20+ years but am considering going elsewhere next year because of the volume of junk adds for more services. Just let me do my thing and get out of the way.

I missed some categories and had to go back. The process want as smooth as in past years. Also, when submitting the e files, the program seemed to hang up and I had a bunch of .json files in the folder. I deleted those files, ended Turbo Tax, restarted my computer, and was able to complete the efiling process after those steps. These caused some stress. Seems there are some minor problems with the program.

At the beginning of the return TurboTax asks if you want to import information from the previous year's return. First, using a MAC it's always difficult finding out where the previous years returns are stored and two later in the current tax return it often asks questions about wether "this box on line ___" was checked", etc which it should already know. Overall I find it glitchy and finicky to use and we usually get more favorable returns taking our copy of Turbo Tax to an accountant. They always find errors with Turbo Tax and they always find us money usually by asking questions that TurboTax didn't.

I have used TurboTax for the past several years and have been very satisfied with it—but not so much for my 2025 return. Using the chat feature to find help for specific topics/questions was a frustrating experience, almost always resulting in a waste of time/effort. After several hours of preparing my 2025 return using TT and finally at the point of e-filing, suddenly I was asked for 2024's AGI and had difficulty easily locating that one piece of datae. Somehow the TT software did not seem to me to be as intuitive as it has been in the past.

Increasingly disappointed with each successive year I use Turbo Tax (I've used it since it first came on the market) I could go on all day but will mention This is the third time in my life I have had to buy a new computer b/c of TurboTax. Program won't run on W10 and W11 won't install on older computer. A lot like telling a carpenter he needs to buy all new tools to build each house. Took me most of a day & several calls to open my Intuit account b/c I changed my phone number. Ended up starting a whole new account under another email and phone number b/4 I could enter my license code and start the next day. Why do I need an account, why do you need my phone number, I bough the program, I want to install it just like when I got the disc and installed it. This is the last time I will use TurboTax

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years. When preparing and filling out the different tax categories, the instructions are easy to follow and if there appears to be a problem, the program will ask you to verify that what was entered is correct. For the 2025 tax year, instead of the CD I normally receive, the program was downloadable. The download was completed with no problems encountered. Prior to actually e-filing the federal and state taxes, the program checks for accuracy and will prompt you if a problem possibly exists with information that has been entered. Turbo Tax makes e-filing of both federal and state taxes a breeze.

There seemed to be some improvements this year on the program, making it easier to navigate. Easy to download and begine the program. Program did have some difficulty finding the previous year's return on my computer to download information from 2024 return. I had to manually load the information for the 2024 return to pull in the information. After that everything was very easy o enter in information.

I've been using Turbo Tax to do my taxes for years except for 5 years when my wife had a store front business in which we hired a tax man to do our taxes. Every year I had the tax man do the taxes I found errors upon my review. Also did my father's income taxes with Turbo Tax for about 10 years how had several rental properties to report.
