I HAVE USED TURBOTAX FOR MANY YEARS, AND I THINK THIS 2025 VERSION IS THE MOST DISAPPOINTING VERSION. TWO OBVIOUS BUGS ARE DISTURBING. FIRST, I PARTLY FINISHED AND SAVED THE PROGRESS IN MY C-DRIVE, AND WHEN I RE-OPENED THE SOFTWARE, IT COULDN'T LOAD IT AND I HAVE TO DIRECT THE SOFTWARE WHERE TO FIND IT. SECOND, WHEN I TRIED TO ENTER THE 1099-DIV MANUALLY, I SELECTED SKIP IMPORT, THE SOFTWARE SHOWED ME 1099-B FORM. IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING!

Does not really answer questions. You end up having to go to the internet or the IRS to get more detailed information. It's not worth buying the program for simple taxes with the standard deduction being so large. Money for the program, money to file, advertisements the whole way...spend money to pay money. Thanks.

The format for this year's version was fair at best. Last year's format was much, much better. The glitches when attempting to import documents was annoying and quite frustrating! Bring back the staff that formatted the Turbo Tax program from last year. This experience left me with far less confidence in the product. I will need to think about using Turbo Tax next year which greatly saddens me. I never thought twice about using Turbo Tax, not anymore!

I've used Turbo Tax for over a decade. I've been very happy with it's accuracy up until this year. This year TurboTax recommended that I go with a standard deduction instead of itemized deduction. Although both the Standard Deduction and Itemized Deductions resulted in the same Federal and State tax liability for 2025, TurboTax made a HUGE miss. If I went with TurboTax's Standard Deduction recommendation, my Residential Energy Tax Credit Carry-forward would have shrunk by over $1300. So glad I didn't go with TurboTax's recommendation and double-checked the details!

I went to sign up for the free audit coverage but the part of the screen at the bottom where it shows to submit, or next, or whatever doesn't show. It is too far down and I can't see it. Therefore I could not submit. And verification of address, phone had the same problem. It was not a matter of scrolling down.

There was an issue with manually entering interest and dividends this year. My bank does not have upload capabilities (and I want to enter anyway to round off amounts to the nearest dollar), but the "walk me through" path would not allow me to enter interest or dividend information for accounts that pulled over from prior returns. I had to go to forms, enter the information, then I could edit the information through the walk me through program. You should provide a path that doesn't require download to update new information for previously existing accounts - very frustrating and I had to google to determine how to get it done.

Request to add an option to input all 1099-B transactions in a table instead of having to do them one at a time via three screens. Also please dial down on the onerous requirements for signing in, nags for extra products, and in general monopolistic behavior.

Feedback report: found software problem with 1040X. It did not report column A original amounts correctly. Even though the page "Your Amended Return Summary" showed the correct original amounts, it did not print that on 1040X. Instead it picked up numbers from an earlier draft version. Unfortunately I did not catch that until after I electronically filed so now working on a second Amended 1040X to correct it. Doesn't look like I can just efile the Federal without the State again. So may have to paper mail it in.

I have used TurboTax for years. This year was a pain. More questions, more complicated. Also less accurate. Downloading from Financial institutions did not work correctly as did downloading from 2024 TurboTax. I get lots of emails advertising your product which are totally unnecessary....I already bought it. I seem to recall an ad offering free State filing, then your charge me $20. Not a big deal, but come on !! I then see ads for free filing and a user for 20 years or more gets a bill for $20.

This year was the worse that I've experienced with Turbo Tax instructions. The 1st state filing should have been free. I ended up paying $25 for both Virginia and Georgia. I will follow up for refund. Overall experience was not well. Maybe I'll pay someone to file next year,
