I've been using Turbo Tax since1998 this is the fist year with so many issues such as charts and tables were included in the copies that were to be mailed. Also alignment of data created a blank page in between pages with data on them. Very disappointing of when the actual CD's were provided. I feel that your concerns are more aligned with what competitors such as H&R Block and Liberty than providing a better product to your customers.

Long-time user of TurboTax, but had to use another product for 2024 because TT wouldn't work on my ten-yr-old Mac. Up-to-date again this year and back to TurboTax. I like the guidance and the mostly orderly way TT leads you through the process. Had some difficulties getting charitable contributions from IRAs to register as deductions this year; initially, they reported as taxable additions to the IRAs, but was able to work through the worksheets to straighten that out. Also got an alert that my ex-wife couldn't have the same SSN as my present wife. Well, it's been fifty years since that divorce, and my ex hasn't figured into my tax returns in a long time. There are quirks and oddities with the product every year, but I stick with TurboTax. I feel a lot more confident when TT says my return is error-free and ready to file.

Turbotax has added too many steps, especially in the section for entering investment income. You want to enter interest, then it goes to general stuff, asks about downloading, and you have to click through a thousand screens to just enter some interest. Needs to be streamlined.

I still like TT a lot, and have never had a problem, but some of the recent style or format changes over the past three or four years have made it a less user-friendly program, IMO. I like the way it walked you through the steps about 4 - 5 years ago, vs. the way it does it now, where one has to choose what to work on next. What If I don't know what kind of income a particular document represents? In the TT of a few years ago, it seems like TT guided me through this without me having to select a bubble on a chart to take me there.

I forgot to add something and had to file amended. This was the first time I have ever had to amend a form with TT and have used this product for almost two decades. Amending through the software into a tailspin. TT gave me three different numbers on the bottom line. Obviously not well at amending forms.

We've been faithfully using TurboTax since the early 90's and have never regretted it. We enjoy the simplicity of the Q&A flow and never having to view any of the forms unless we wanted to. All entries we make during the interview process places our responses on to the correct forms and in their respective locations.

Still the best topic by topic guidance. I also rate your research notes (help windows) highly with solid references to IRS.Gov resources. Occasionally I still bet caught in a loop when trying to change an entry e.g. I had to make change some business income/expense entries and the tool took me back to the same question multiple times before I was successful making the change.

I filed electronically using PIN numbers I retrieved from the proper website, and the return was rejected. I also paid to file NJ taxes electronically but never got any word of whether the state return was accepted or not. So that was a waste of money. I tried refiling the federal form, but the ire never received it. So now I have to print the form to mail it, and nowhere do I find instructions what papers need to be mailed with the forms. I've used TurboTax for years, but this is the last year I will do so.

I have submitted my returns 3 times today. Twice I was told there is an Issue with the HSA portion of my return. But doesn't offer any direction to what is wrong or how to correct it. The information I put in came directly from my W2 and other employer provided paper work.

I have been using TurboTax for over twenty years. It is aways accurate and easy to use. I do take two issues with this edition for 2025. I object to your requirement for Windows 11. It is unnecessary and a burden for those who are already using Windows 10. We all use anti-virus and other protections and this just seems like a windfall for Microsoft that you are assisting. Same for having to print from Acrobat. I don't remember having to do this before. I could save to Acrobat, but print from he page. These are two really bothersome changes.
