Everything worked except when I went to submit the taxes , it would not let me. On a 1099-R form box 14. I had 2,000.00 for State taxes. It said something like it can not be more than the distribution (don't remember the exact comment). I had no ideal what to do and I tripple checked the input I put in for the 1099-R. Finally I lost hope with Turbo tax and Googled it and found something about filling in box 16 (which was blank) with what was in box 1. What a lot of time I spent ......

My Ohio Tax and School District tax were rejected. TurboTax promised a software after March 19. After an extended chat with your online help center, they gave me an 800 number to call which informed my that they can.t help me on Windows 10, and stopped. My computer is on Windows11, When I received a phoine number to call I expected a human voice and not a poor excuse for an answer, Thank you

I'm a TT user for decades. Some truly useful features seem to be discontinued, or are extremely hard to find. i ended up using Gemeni AI to find things. - no way to do a trace back from problematic number to where it was changeable input; cause me couple hours' work - unclear how to differentiate forms from worksheet-forms combinations; in older TT versions, I could easily relate the questions and boxes to the specific line on the 1040, so I could directly fill out 80% of questions/data and concentrate onf the rest using what were better explanations - generally it seems latest TT has minimal explations; e.g. different between HSA, MSA, and TSA, which are very different but poorly explained; I wasted hours trying to get 1099-SA for my FSA until I finally found from FSA company that no 1099's are provided or needed for FSA's

This is an adendem to my original comments below. I am very tired as to getting IRS rejects four times regarding the AGI and everything is correct. Thanks for everything. I haven't done my own taxes since 1995 & was a little apprehensive. My brother-in-law has used your system for years and said to me "You can do it!!" So I said Ok and bought the Program. Everything worked out fine and answering the questions made the process very easy. The figures basically matched my return from last year from my former Accountant except for the entry amounts differing due to income/expense changes. Thank you. Everything was great!!

I could not file my federal and state taxes electronically, due to a programming error. I could not file my daughter's federal and states electronically, due o a programming error - after I paid for e-filing. the program ought to have confirmed e-filing success before finishing the processing of the credit card. after I entered direct deposit information for NJ, I was informed that NJ does not use direct deposit for partial year. that should have been captured BEFORE I entered the information.

It took me 30 minutes to figure out how to purchase and download Turbotax. This was both one for MAC and one for Windows. I DO NOT want to use the online version. Please make it easier. It is almost like you are trying to prevent me from using the download version.

Previous year TurboTax offered features that would assist in doing deductions as related to household goods, clothing, and other miscellaneous donations not specific to cash. Additionally, the accuracy of some questions and detail guidance could be enhanced, specifically when it comes to mortgages and refinance.

I have been using TurboTax for years and this has been by far the worse time I have had using the program. First of all it took several hours to download the program and then it took several times of entering the same information to finally get the program to save it. I felt that the program was less user friendly than in the past.

I have used TurboTax for many years. In general it is a very good product that has been greatly improved. There are a couple of areas that can be improved: 1. Importing investment data causes a few minor errors on the various forms. These errors are almost always lack of a checked box or transfer of address information that are easily fixed, but still an aggravation. 2. Some descriptions of items are difficult to completely understand, but that is only slows things down a little. Not a major problem.

You charge too much money for your product. I have been a faithful TaurboTax user for the last 21 years. The removal of "It's Deductible" from your product has given me a strong desire to look elswhere. It was a terrible change of direction and whomever decided that should no longer be in charge of anything. You also charge for filing more than one state tax. When I buy your product for my household, ALL members of the household should be able to file for the original price of the product. Greedy management.
