Each year there are more things that are not transferred from the previous year when uploaded. It makes using your software more difficult. I am seriously considering changing to another company even though I have been using this product for many many years.

Very bad this the 529 needed more information. The bank information didn't go on the State forms had to go back and go into forms and put in. If I had not checked every line, we would have had to wait months for the refund. I paid a lot of money for this program it should have put it in when I put in the information in the Federal Form. It never asked again to put it in for State.

I do not like this online download version. I have purchased a disk before and it easier to use. To do this year tax, I bought a laptop specifically to prepare our tax returns and could not use my desktop to do so. In addition, there are too many ads and especially having to fill in this survey before I can file. This requirement is too much. The software could be improved to get more friendly and helpful tips in doing the tax returns. I often get frustrated to have to download or update the software when turning the software ti view tax returns. How many times it need to be updated? If I haven't used Turbo Tax software for more than 30 years, I would search for alternative friendlier ad helpful software, Please cut down you ad to subscribe more of your services as I am not interested to purchase them. It is ridiculous to have us type our experiences while not providing auto corrections of spellings.

I'm disappointed that Turbo Tax didn't ask me to enter my Social Security income on the federal and state returns I just filed. I thought it because SSN wasn't taxed this year but upon putting away a printed copy noticed it is on the form. Turbo Tax missed this in the final review which said my form was OK to email to the IRS and state, despite my filing a Senior 1040 and being 77 years old. Now I need to submit Amendments.

I use Turbotax every year and I appreciate many things about it. It is easy and intuitive to use. The only thing I would suggest to improve is filing the state taxes after federal is not inuitive. You have to go into the taxes all over again even though it says it's complete.

I am a CPA who specializes in tax, and the software changes for TY2025 were confusing not only to me, but to my family members who called me in frustration. I spent significant time helping them over the phone as a result of these changes. My family stated they are inclined to try a different tax provider next year due to their frustration this year. PLEASE rework the TY2025 changes so that the software is more friendly to the average taxpayer. While trying to find answers to the TY 2025 software issues, I found that many taxpayers were experiencing the same issues. The most frustrating was the Schedule D digital asset check box not being selected and having to review each asset sale to select the check box. My sister had 134 non-digital asset sales to individually select. This is obviously a defect in the software. By the way, the AI to type this message is worse than aweful to use as it keeps correcting my typing, such as "te" rather than "the". Knock it off. AI is not yet reliable, and everyone in tax and accounting knows this to be true. ALL TYPO'S ARE COURTESY OF YOUR TERRIBLE AI MODEL.

Federal was a breeze. Tried to e-file state and would not give me window for credit card payment. In past could easily print documents for paper filing. Not this year. Had to go through list and select, make sure I had everything. Not awesome - very cumbersome!!!

Turbotax is not doing a very good job on the MN property tax form. It is too complicated. It used to be quite easy in the past. I am considering changing SW next year because the MN property tax form has been a mess the past few years. You need to ask each field separately not display a small form to fill out.

Company out to take your money, but puts you in a position where you have to buy more. Transparent costs and stop with the up selling. Also the browser experience is difficult so quit asking me why I don't want to use it. I already spend hours working through the desktop app. Ya'll need to seriously rethink the desktop experience if you really want to go that route and not provide the desktop app anymore. I also noticed you don't have price as category for suggested topics, because you know everyone would comment on that.

I miss the old table/feature which helped to assess amounts for charitable donation items. That was very useful and much easier than the currently available process--hate the new process. It's difficult to find the correct items especially if you have a variety of items. I had to try multiple times with different names to find the right item for my donated items.
