You might want to user a precise word when instructing a action. For example: "Enter you last year AGI". If the current time is March 2026 and the user was filing his return. The words "last year" could be understood as 2025 and/or 2024 AGI figure. Thank you for asking for a review.

I have been using TurboTax for about a dozen years or so, and I obviously think it's pretty good or I would have tried something else. But it's not perfect, so hopefully they don't take their foot off the gas. I do like the step-by-step approach. This year I had some difficulty entering the info for a home refinance --- I think they need to clean up that section to allow for ALL POSSIBLE SITUATIONS. It can get complicated, so that may be a challenge, I don't know.

I have used Turbotax for 25 some years. For the first time I could not download by state return. Your professional agents spent the hours needed to diagnose the problem, make the corrections needed, and get my PC to working order. All at no extra charge. THANK YOU ALL.

I have used for so many years. Disappointed in amount of marketing stuff I have to wade through. Really unnecessary to do so many times. Especially after having reviewed and going back through. Like being able to go between step by step and View. Like chat capabilities. REALLY don't like that I have to do a product update EVERY time I open the return....even a year after filed. Should be able to skip this step if choose to. REALLY don't like. I don't want the software update to change anything I may have submitted to IRS.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years now. However, this year has been a disappointment. problems with forgetting the IP PIN. now it looks like I have to mail in paper documents. Download from my financial group did not work, requiring a call to your help desk. ( they were helpful) Overall things did not flow well.

I have been a TurboTax user for over 20 years, but this year's experience has been extremely frustrating. The CAPTCHA login process was unnecessarily difficult and poorly designed—I ultimately had to contact support, and even the phone advisor agreed it was a confusing and unpleasant experience. This should not be happening with a product of this caliber. I am also increasingly dissatisfied with the ongoing push toward online-only functionality. I do not want my financial data stored or managed online, and I strongly prefer to keep everything on my local computer. If TurboTax continues to move in this direction and limit offline usability, I will seriously consider switching to another provider such as H&R Block. At this point, it feels like long-time users who prefer a traditional, local software experience are being overlooked. I expect better usability, fewer barriers to access, and more respect for user preferences.

Your software would not allow me to pay for my state e-file. I spent a total of 3 hurs on the phone and screen share with 2 support people (who were great bu limited). ENd the endte ecommendaiton was for me to mail in my return? Is this what i paid over $70 for? I don't think so. Please fix your bugs.

I don't like how it tries to sell you something frequently. Also don't like one of the options that gives you option to buy service or return later to buy - makes you tell a lie to move forward - I had no intention of coming back to purchase. I pay you for the product, I resent the continued sales after I bought the product.

This is my third year using Turbotax. I generally find it easy to use and the guidance works well in helping to get me through the process and make sure my return is accurate. Turbotax moved me quickly through all the elements of the return. The organized process made me more thorough and resulted in maximun tax savings. My only slowdown was gathering the necessary information. I had some difficulty this year with errors that referenced specific tax forms generated in the process. I did not know how to correct things since I had no direct connection with the form. Turbotax help via telephone was excellent in helping me quickly pinpoint and correct the errors. All-in-all the software made tax time less stressful and was "way better" than trying to do everything manually. It was also a lot cheaper than hiring someone to do the same thing that Turbotax can do.

tax software was straight forward and done fast. However to pay by credit card for my state return intuit made me jump through hoops after resetting and reloading over 8 times on both the desktop and then laptop. at the direction of level 2 support. nothing worked until i reset and reloaded windows 11 on my laptop then had to reset the resolution to 80% then after a tiny font appeared all the drop down boxes worked. poor, poor programing from intuit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
