TurboTax 2025 Deluxe seems to have several bugs. It is impossible to uncheck some things, without starting all over. I had to do my taxes from the beginning, after getting through to the payment section, because I changed my mind. It erased everything, even though I had saved it. Federal portion printed alright, but the IL state portion was gibberish when I tried to print the 2026 estimate vouchers or the tax forms. Turns out, after MUCH trial and error, I had to install Adobe Reader DC. Been using TurboTax for like 25 years, and this was the first time I couldn't print the forms!! I'm pretty disappointed in this years product.

Way more complicated than H&R Block and couldn't change an incorrect PIN when e-filing, so kept getting rejected. By the time all the costs of the whole filing experience, was almost that of filing with an accountant. Will NOT be using this program next year.

We use TT Deluxe and manage to get through our simple, straight forward process pretty cleanly each year. Wish there was a quick easy way to reference explanations or clarifications short of paying the $60 fee! We ultimately seem to find what we need on our own but the product seems to be moving more toward having a TT expert in the process so we will take it year to year.

I can't remember exactly where it was, but some of the Guidance questions were so vague. I do remember one spot in the guidance where it was talking about entering Social Security amount below where it already had an amount and it did not give enough information for me to easily understand what numbers if any I should be entering. So if that was fixed it would be nice. Just don't put guidance questions that are to vague or don't give enough information as to where to find the information for that spot. Need to give more information on several guidance questions. I also feel like that when purchasing this product, that the State E-Filing should also be free.

I've been using TurboTax for years, but some of the changes that were made to the Easy Step Interface this year were a step in the wrong direction. I found the 1099 entry particularly confusing and unhelpful. Also not thrilled with the clarity of the state guidance. But, I was able to complete the filing, so that's good. Also really unhappy that the Its Deductible tool for donation of goods is no longer available.

Downloaded versions MUST and SHOULD automatically save as infomation is inputted. It shouldn't only be the online version that automatically saves. I lost close to 4 hours of time working on my taxes when the screen froze and I couldn't save my work. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Even though I've used TurboTax for at least the past 20 years, this was the first year I didn't feel as secure in my submission. Data entry for some forms was wonky and I had to go into the form itself to enter information. In addition, evidently information for my state return was not up to date. My state return was initially rejected, until Turbo Tax did an update. And, no, I didn't file super early. I filed at the end of February. Not sure if I will be buying in the future. The price increases over the years don't always equate to a better experience.

My wife and I each own separate shares of stock in some of the same and some different companies. I encountered a glitch when trying to download the stock information using Turbotax. We each had different sets of stock handled by Computershare. After downloading the information about my wife's stock successfully, I tried to download the information about my stock. But Turbotax then deleted all the information about my wife's stock. I had to then enter the information manually. Turobax needs to fix this glitch.

It all started great until my cursor stopped showing on the software - tricky to navigate without that. After trying several fixes, I decided I had to close the 2025 Turbo Tax desktop app to get my cursor to come back. It deleted all of my information I spent 30 minutes inputting - even though I saved the information. Had to start over. Not sure what happened, but I paid a lot for software that didn't save simple text information. Once I started over, no issues and got a decent refund.

I owe Federal $829, but getting back $1056 from the state. In the summary TurboTax said that I was getting back $227. This confused me, because I thought state was going to pay the federal with the money I was getting back and then get me the remaining balance. But it doesn't look that's the case. This is very confusing. Please fix
