Turbo Tax is great.!

Could you find a way to 'auto-fill' a lot of the info when I enter 'INT' 1099's.? I get several 1099's from two different Credit Unions and I have to type all the info over and over again. Your program will 'auto-fill' with the 'import' key. Can't it be set up to 'auto-fill' once you start typing the same info again.?

TurboTax works fine. Forced upgrade to Windows 11.

Software worked fine. Forced to Upgrade to Windows 11 after purchasing. Didn't read the fine print. E-mail had glitch that wouldn't allow me to use cloud-based software without making changes to my computer... Paid a $18 penalty for underestimation, even though I used Turbo Tax last year.

Used Turbo Tax for 30+ years

Never have had problems with Turbo Tax in the past (30+ years). This year I got to the payment screen to pay for the State return filing an it kept locking up and the screen size would not allow me to click the continue button. worked thru it with tabs, but it took awhile

No It's Deductible

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years and have always given it a 5 star review. This year I was very disappointed that It's deductible was not included. I have used it extensively in the past and it saved a lot of time. What was provided with the program this year I found to be cumbersome and unusable.

Deceiving advertisement for free federal and state

I have used turbotax for decades, and always bought either the premier or the deluxe version. I loved it because it was very convenient. This year again I purchased the deuxe edition with free federal and state return. Only to find out, when I was ready to file, it asked me to pay additional $25 for state filing. I never had to pay additional until this year! It is very deceiving and false advertising when you purchase the software thinking you are getting free efile

Errors w no fix

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and this has been by far the worse. Bugs go unfixed and error appear with no direction on how to fix. It is not something I would recommend to anyone. I am a CPA so I know the forms and know they are correctly filled but cannot imagine an average person relying on it with blatant bugs and errors that could lead to audit. I suspect these bugs go unfixed so audits occur and TurboTax can sell audit protection. Pretty pathetic. Not sure I will be using it next year.

FALSE advertisement

your advertisement is JOKES , $0 is $0....... i do not invite you to my store and say i have FREE popcorn and then charge you a bakers fee at the end....... Turbo tax advertisement says "file for $0" when, at the very end im paying fees....... THATS STILL PAYING FOR SOMTHING which turns your advertisement into a lie. What's even more crazy is you dont even SAY ANYTHING about the fees you have to pay at the end ......

Serious problem in Maryland TurboTax 2025

Maryland excludes a certain amount of pension income (such as IRA distributions) that are fully taxable as Federal income. The excludable amount is calculated in Worksheet 13a and reported on Forms 502 (line 10a) and 502R (line 11). However, TurboTax 2025 didn't include this exclusion as a choice in the list of incomes where Maryland differs from Federal. In our case, TurboTax didn't include any amount in 502 or 502R, and its final calculation showed us owing Maryland $12 rather than an actual refund of $2,400.

Glitch:Energy Efficient Commercial Bldg Form 7205

TT has a glitch with Business deductions. It automatically enters a 0 for anything I don't need including Energy Efficient Commercial Bldg & then won't e-file, because there's a 0 on that line. It was difficult to determine how to fix this. I read several comments online.

Been better

More confusing this year than other years. I had some issues with things showing up on a worksheet, and there was no obvious way to fix the problem or get out of the section. Also, a lot of pages do not let me use my finger to scroll the page (only the narrow scroll bar) and many things are just barely below the bottom of the page, always requiring scrolling, like the help section needing me to scroll to get to the box where I type.
