I did not know where to find downloaded information. Quick tips did not help, so I entered the information myself. Also, before when downloading from Merrill, one request got al h 1099s and stock informtion. It was not clear if I had to download multiple times to get 1099DIV and then 1099INT.

Overall it was easy to use and worked perfectly. Only suggestion would be more clear and separate the fact that you are paying a state filing fee instead of having it mixed in with filing the federal return. It was confusing seeing pay with card right after inputting how I wanted to file my Federal return.

Didn't ask for health insur premiums deducted from pension. Had to search for place to record State est tax advance payments on fed return. WHy on fed return and not just STate????? Software would not recognize 2024 return transferred and saved from ol PC to new.

There are some things that aren't explained very well. I had to go to AI for answers. Other than that it's great. It finds last year's info. and inserts it. It reviews and asks for added information. (this is where I wasn't sure at first what to fill in). It shows what we put in last year so it's hard to miss anything. It does all the math so I don't have to. I've used TurboTax for years and really appreciate it knowing what forms I need to fill out.

I have used Turbotax for almost a decade, maybe longer. It's pretty easy and user friendly, however, I rated it a 3 because the print is so SMALL, hard to read and unchangeable. I also know, it IS something that can be updated so that each user can adjust the font size to what is comfortable for them. PLEASE, add this ability to adjust the font size to Turbotax for our 2026 tax return time and you'll probably get a lot more 5 stars!

I always make tax payments online at IRS.gov. At the final stage of using TurboTax (desktop) I was forced to select from only four (4) payment methods: 1, bank debit; 2, credit card; 3, mail a check; 4, installment payment plan. I could not select online IRS.gov. I called TurboTax hep, and was told to select "mail a check" and then later just use my online method. This forces the user to misrepresent their intentions. A fifth option should also be offered: online payments.

It all started great until my cursor stopped showing on the software - tricky to navigate without that. After trying several fixes, I decided I had to close the 2025 Turbo Tax desktop app to get my cursor to come back. It deleted all of my information I spent 30 minutes inputting - even though I saved the information. Had to start over. Not sure what happened, but I paid a lot for software that didn't save simple text information. Once I started over, no issues and got a decent refund.

I have used TurboTax (and its predecessor, MacinTax) since the 1980's. Only 1 year, several years ago, did I try competitors product -- which did not meet to my satisfaction, so I bought TurboTax in addtion that year and have never regretted it... though, this year, there were several problems with the accuracy and features. For example, when showing a summary of this year and last year's income data, there are several (at least 3 of them, which I reported) that would show that a previously unavailable feature was now available. After completing that data, it typically would then show the current year's data. However, there is a bug in the system where it still displays the feature now available. The other problem was encountered with the error checker. If flagged lines 11 and 13 of the Home Sale Worksheet as mising a checkmark. The question only applies when a spouse is involved. This was for my father's taxes. My father passed away this last year and my mother had passed the year before, so he was properly identified as Single (I have not reported this problem). But this has been the "buggiest" year I've seen in a long time from you folks... Very disappointed!

When TurboTax starts up on my computer, it usually says "Update will take 5 minutes." Several hours later, it finally has updated all that it needs to change/add, and is ready for the user to begin utilizing the program. I have a fast connection rate with my computer ISP, but that doesn't seem to affect the rate of update from the program. It wastes a lot of time.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years (maybe 15 years?) to file my taxes. My tax reality is not complicated so I feel that I'm pretty much in compliance with federal taxation rules. Each year I attempt to file my taxes as soon as I receive necessary tax documents that are made available by authorities in Jan and sometimes as late as Feb.What I really like about Turbo Tax is tha I'm able to track my tax realities over the years. I have been a little frustrated combining Turbo Tax accounts when I failed to remember my user ID and password.
