would have been nice to have an editor to make sure the EIN matched. we with 70 years old eyes would have liked to have something like this so we ger the EIN correct.

TT sucks. I tried the "upgrade" to TT online because it offered free state e-file, then it tried to charge me $64 for state e-file. That's MORE than e-filing through the desktop software. Also OMG is this thing full of dark patterns.

Turbo Tax is always self-explanatory and very easy to understand and use. I have done my own taxes for years now using TT and wouldn't do them any other way!

After utilizing TurboTax successfully for decades, this was the worst year ever for completion, due to TurboTax software issues, downloading 1099-R forms from Edward Jones.

Many inefficiencies this year, repetitive questions. For instance why not ask overall for investments if any straddles, etc. If not done, if so can choose which ones it applies to. In prior years I would have given a 4 star rating.

Turbo tax is good as an alternative to using a professional CPA, in cases where a person doesn't require a need of one. A lot of people who don't own expensive things and just more of the basics is good for most of us.

SOlid product only major issue and it was a major issue is the handling of non cash contributions this has to be corrected for the future using a list type entry format, current method is way to time consuming if you itemize.

Turbo Tax continues to provide all 5 review topics and has my confidence that I will do it right. Tax laws are complicated and Turbo Tax helps make it clear with its direct questions. I feel like I'm in control of my taxes.

I don't know what changes you made for 2025, but it is the worse program I have used. Never had issues with Turbo tax in the past years until this 2025. I don't know that I will continue using it.

The software dishonestly adds $45 at closing for an un-explained "Premium" service with no chance of declining that service or even an explanation of what that "Premium" service entails.
