I had a difficult time to file my both returns due to the system which did not allow me to skip the Tax Audit Defense part, Something in a process did not work and I could not register for this service and thus the payment could not happen. I use Turbotax for many years and this is a first time when I was not able to register for Tax Audit Defense.

I have used your product for over 20 years. This is the worst version I have ever used. It put in numbers that I never did. It created forms I didn't need and didn't put them on the the forms list so I could delete them, but, you could pull them up on the screen and see them all filled out. At one point it completely disappeared and I had to download it 3 times to get a version that worked. I am not sure if I will use this Software again next year. It froze up and got into a loos that I didn't know how to fix.It took me hours and hours to do just the short form.

My experience went as it always has for the past 30+ years until I transmitted my return electronically and it was rejected by the IRS. The reason came back that my wife's AGI in the return did not match the one in the IRS database. It matched my AGI which also matched the AGI in our 2024 return. I have tried several times with no avail. Turbo Tax Help states that I can just mail my tax return. I buy Turbo Tax to file electronically. Mailing it in is not what was advertised for Turbo Tax Deluxe edition as a main feature.

I am sick and tired of your bull crap attempts to upcharge people. I purchased Deluxe with State included and when you tricked me into using online you tried to charge me for the state return I had already purchased. If you don't tone down all the upselling next year it will be my last using TT. Cut the bull crap!

The online help is useless. I needed to make corrections to the Missouri return in regard to Turbo Tax incorrectly transferring data from my federal return. I could not do that. I deleted MO tax return date, but as soon as I started a new return as suggested by your AI, the old date was filled in again and I was blocked from entering the corrected data.

I am now 71 years old and have used Turbo Tax for over 25 years! Not sure I could have done my own taxes all these years without Turbo Tax. I continue to urge younger folks to try it versus paying hundreds of dollars to "so call" tax experts to simply file a short form! Turbo Tax might want to launch an ad campaign targeted to younger folks (under age 40) about preparing their own taxes. Most people those ages are already "computer literate."

Some sections not as intuitive to navigate: section where you enter interest income, dividends, investment sales. Sometimes you would wind up in a loop without having the ability to go back. Also, it had me going through Canadian pension without giving a question if this pertained to me. I had to put 0 values on everything so it could forward. Once I got out,had to update and delete the form. Felt this year's version made me waste time.

Interface re RMDs worse than last year, no guidance; last year was at least a simple check box. Overall it looks like the whole application was cobbled together, think cut and paste, little review, not surprising given IRS/Trump chaos, but inexcusable as a released tax return product.

Entering was easy. I had a question that wasn't answered with the form and help feature but I worked through that. Printing would only preview and not print but I saved to PDF and printed from there. Like all software not perfect but I rely on Turbo Tax to get me through it.

I've used turbo tax for many years. I am comfortable with the format, and ease of using the step by step instruction guide. My taxes are very easy, yet it is nice to have the program looking over my shoulder and ensuring all the entries are correctly done, and you back it up with the Audit guarantee.
