I have used Turbotax for over 30 years. The past 2 years have been the worst, and this year has been by far the worst. The deductions section was terrible. Forms from previous years had to be deleted and reentered. I was unable to review the data in the deductions in the application and had to use forms to enter and review all data.

The tax part is great, but I feel like around every corner Turbo Tax is begging me for more money. And be ready to click OK 10x where it only needs once so Turbo Tax can pretend they are reviewing for accuracy, finding more deductions, etc when it is doing nothing special. Really, it is extremely annoying to use, yet again. Too bad as if you strip all of the nonsense out of the product, it really is a seamless way to get your taxes done accurately.

Simply put, three phone calls and each person with the exception of the third phone call were not helpful and simply appeared to not be interested in rendering help that one would expect from a helpline. I made mistakes with not retaining my return when I started with a new computer. but the lack of guidance was grossly incompetent. A simple review that I was able to determine by working through the process would have yielded the solution. Instead, each person, with the exception of the third call, appeared to being more interested in getting me off the helpline.

I want to mail my state return not e-file it. when i print it out to mail says to e-file and does not provide mail in instructions. Also, wants to charge me $25 to e-file it. My product comes with one free state filing and 5 free electronic filings. I have not e-filed any state returns. Why is it charging me $25 to e-file state return when a I haven't e-filed any state returns

The software code purchase was for "download Only" and would NOT WORK for the website version. I have used TurboTax for many years and this was the worst experience. I spent way too much time figuring out how and why there was an issue--I was not the only one to have this problem. I need to be refunded my $25 state filing fee--AT LEAST--for the extra time and trouble I had to figure out how and why the two versions were different and the code was unable to be used. This is supposed to be quick and easy--it was far from that. Disappointed in the extra time I had to spend on what should have been quick and easy in the past. Far from it this year. Figure it out!

I've used Turbo Tax for many years. This is the first time I couldn't use a certain credit card because the box that opens up to enter the credit card information won't let you enter an expiration date past August because you can't scroll past 8 on the box that drops down and you can't type it in directly. I was lucky I had a credit card that expires in April because I could pick 04 in the box. Also the stupid Canadian form shows up even if you say you don't have earning from a foreign country. Forum is full of complaints about this.

Please enhance import interface with JP Morgan Chase. I always need to go to forms to correct the entries every year I use TruboTax. 2025 version got stuck with digital asset questions that every 1099B entry requires manual override, which is a lot for my portfolio. in 2025 I searched JP Morgan Securities then in 2026 I needed to search Chase. Thank you for continuing to improve the interface.

1) Using Turbo Turbo tax for my 2025 on Windows 11 PC, I could not import my 2024 Turbo Tax info which was on my Windows 10 computer nor could I do so via Turbo Tax online, very disappointing and time consuming, especially since I had to buy a new Windows 11 PC just to do my taxes. 2) Using 2025 Turbo Tax for my Hawaii State taxes, with the step by step instructions, there is a very serious software omission to add my quarterly Hawaii Estimated Taxes that I paid every 4 months. Turbo Tax stated that I owed Hawaii $5,300 & when I continued with the step by step interview, Turbo Tax went through the accuracy check & stated that my Hawaii Tax return was 100% accurate when in fact I had to go find the correct State Form to manually input my quarterly equal payments of $1,900 x 4 = $7,600. I was able to receive a refund of $1,766. With such a serious error, I no longer have confidence in Turbo Tax which I have used over 18 years.

When going to pay for state and when entering credit card for state payment, the place where you scroll down to enter experation month does not scroll past 8. I don't have a credit card with an experation date before August of any year. This is a major flaw, in my opinion.
