I have used TurboTax for many years and I for the most part like it very much and will continue to use it. Additional comments: 1.) There are features I have asked for that remain unavailable. The Control-I feature available on many entries is very helpful. However, the information entered in the dialog box is not copied over to the next year. This results in having to open the previous year's file, finding the same entry, opening the dialog, and manually copying the text from one year to the next. Very tedious and as a software developer, does not seem like much effort to make this happen. Please consider it. 2.) In doing 2025 taxes, my initial efile was rejected because I had not entered in the 1095-A information. I agree I could have been more thorough, however, if baffles me that TurboTax error checking did not flag it as an error. Judging from the TurboTax Community this has hurt many users since 2019. Please consider a warning. 3.) For the 2025 Deluxe version, it seemed like the "Visit All" box did not actually Visit All. Perhaps that is why I missed the 1095-A form, not sure. But after my rejection notice, I went through every income and deduction again which I had to manually click on "Start" or "Update" on every item because "Visit All" seemed to look at only the first topic in a given section. 4.) When completing a section of entries, the program reverts to the top of the page for either income or deductions. It would be helpful as a user to revert back to the section I just finish instead of having to scroll down the whole list of sections I have already completed to get to the next section that I need to fill in. 5.) There are consistency difference in how categories are finished. Some have a choice similar to "None of these apply" while others just list questions with no required response. I vote a "None of these apply" response as a consistent expectation. Thanks for listening!

I experienced a problem with the update portion of this program, which caused me to visit a Tech Service to restore my computer. It was most disconcerting. However, they fixed it and I filed by the deadline. All in all, I felt this program was better designed than last year. I was totally frustrated with 2024 version.

It seem as though taxes have become complicated, Turbo Tax has also. But I was able to make my way through it once again. I made an incorrect choice on Federal Schedule D and my return was rejected by the IRS. Turbo Tax isolated it and guided me through the correction and helped my resent the return. Good product feature!

Why wouldn't the TurboTax 2025 version transfer my TurboTax 2024 past year information? The comments was that "the file was too large" for the TurboTax 2024 past year information; however, the document was only 8.9 MB in size. This forced me to enter in my 2024 information directly into my 2025 TurboTax forms, which was a three hour operation.

I am less satisfied with TT than I have been. You upgraded the OS requirements to where I had to buy a new computer with Win11. It is pretty slow now. TT no longer will automatically calculate and print estimated taxes. Yes there is a work around to manually override a form and print it individually. So, I have with a lot of consternation made it work. I will file paper forms because I have to mail a check anyway.

As usual, the 2025 Federal State Income Tax Product is very comprehensive and very intuitive with its very effective GUIDANCE tool. It takes a lot of the "guess work" out of preparing taxes and supplies easily understandable narrative to each section. This wil continue to be my "GO TO" tax prep software to use for my tax preparation.

you suck - every year I buy this product and every year there is something your software misses when I e file. I get rejected then try to fix the problem. Your product is garbage. Well shame on me for buying it again. I will not file with Turbo tax ever again.

All went smoothly with the deluxe version, including ability to file a K1 form and sales of securities. One minor problem, it was hard to figure out how print just the forms that were actually filed. I tried several things, all of which wanted to print all 79 pages including worksheets and other info. Not sure who would want to print all of that, finally found what I was looking for in File -> Print... This was easy to find in past years, would recommend not hiding it as it appears for 2025.

This year TT Deluxe is NOT user friendly. It was a download version on top of Windows 11 updates, and the interface was not compatible. The import 2024 feature failed which was the basically the reason for the purchase to file individual returns. It was not apparent and with no guidance where the BBB for seniors was applied. I goggled to find out. The format changes-questions were too simple without detail info to use to make decisions, making for section do overs. This year took way longer as input was manually. And the major issue for 2025 is the missing block in TT to insert the taxpayer ID Protection Identity Pin and IRS REJECTED the return for electronic filing with missing ID. IRS instructed to print and mail return which totally defeats the purpose. TT was a waste of money and time, providing very little service to taxpayer. I am hoping my data is compiled and reported with accuracy. If I can't import next year, then what would be the point to purchase TT 2026?? 2025 waste a waste of money. Oh, don't forget to write in a block to add the ID PIN at signature!!

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years. When preparing and filling out the different tax categories, the instructions are easy to follow and if there appears to be a problem, the program will ask you to verify that what was entered is correct. For the 2025 tax year, instead of the CD I normally receive, the program was downloadable. The download was completed with no problems encountered. Prior to actually e-filing the federal and state taxes, the program checks for accuracy and will prompt you if a problem possibly exists with information that has been entered. Turbo Tax makes e-filing of both federal and state taxes a breeze.
