I filed my taxes on someone else's computer (thanks to your software's incompatibility with Windows 10) and would like to have a copy on my own computer and the ability to print it at my office, however there is no way for me to send a secure copy thru email. Would have cost me twice as much to do online. :( Overall easy to work with. Your screen shows "employer contribution' to HSA and I think this should be 'employee/employer contribution'. Had a couple of instances where we couldn't go back.

Software crashed 4 times during normal data entry. Minor data loss when it crashed. Too much up selling. Was asked too many times to upgrade/addon. Asked and answered multiple times. Explanations not clear at times. Thank goodness for AI tools from 3rd parties.

Overall a great product. I feel very comfortable being led through the many fields. Only complaint is that to file state, I have to pay $25. OK, that is not too bad. But it's really bad that you charge a fee of $40 to have the $25 taken out of my federal return! Come on, a $40 fee to pay a $25 bill? It's just wrong. I undid it and charged to credit card.

I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for years. Solid product and mostly easy to use. This year seemed a little "clunkier" and due to ETrade/Morgan Stanley import I had to adjust so many things. That is not TurboTax's fault but I wish they had a better interface to find the discrepancies. It has been accurate for years. And the guidance is good if you use.

TTax used to be fun and easy to use. It is now much more difficult. Many more questions are asked about topics I know nothing about. I was asked if some assets are "digital assets". Heck, I don't know how or where my financial institution invests all of money.

Usually TurboTax is a great tool for tax prep. But this year it skipped a vital step in preparing my state return. It counted my pension income as actual income without requesting info about its type and tax status. This caused TurboTax to base its calculations on an incorrect income amount and conclude that we owed tax and a penalty. It started to calculate a penalty, as well as estimated 2026 payments, when I stopped to review the entire process. That is when I found the missing screen and corrected the entry. I think TurboTax should have discovered this missing information much sooner!

Seem like Turbo Tax is slowly going backwards for explaining what is wanted for some lines on the tax forms. I opened one tab to gain some info or background to better understand what was wanted. It came up totally blank. Use to give Turbo Tax 5 stars but the past couple of years it has been losing my confidence.

There is a software issue with Form 5695. I initially made a mistake and hit yes on improvements of panelboards, etc. and then went back and hit no once I saw my mistake but did not catch that the program gave me a $1200 credit instead of the $600 that I was entitled. The program said I had no errors. I e-filed and it was rejected both Federal and State. I had to go into forms and correct the error manually and then efiled again.

Every year I look forward to filing my taxes with Turbo Tax software. It is easy to use for beginner or intermediate filers who want trusted guidance in assisting with filing. I definitely recommend the software, and I personally enjoy the desktop version. I will be back next year!

Extremely annoying that you do not offer the product for Linux machines. TurboTax is the only reason I have Windows installed on one of my machines and it is a pain that you only allow it to be installed on the newest copy of Windows. I also do not trust your web version of TurboTax. As a software developer for close to 40 years I know it is not difficult to make the application for all 3 major Operating Systems. This may be my last year for TurboTax.
