First time filing Married filing jointly. Last year both filed Single. On the Federal Worksheet for 2024, it combined our income for our AGI and showed the wrong filing status for 2024. It showed (2) MFJ. When I electronically filed my federal and two (2) states all three (3) were rejected because couldn't correctly identify me because the wrong AGI was populated. Did I do something wrong, or is this an issue with the Turbo Tax program. I would like to be advised of the resolution of this issue. I corrected the error and am now going to re-electronically submit only my federal at this time. Once it is accepted I will re-electronically file both of my states. I've tried several times to go back over the Step-by-Step instructions, but can't find where I populated my AGI for 2024.

I love TT and have been. using it for several years. It seems like this year you were pushing a LOT of different options and add-ons, like doing it online rather than desktop, getting live help, etc. You have to realize that that just overly complicates an already complicated process. The screens, especially the opening screen, look much "busier" than they need to be. Make the options very simple and straightforward. Also realize that a lot of your users are seniors who like to stick to what they already know. For them you should make what they already know EASIER to use. One other thing... as I was transmitting, the program crashed. It just kept spinning on "transmitting," and I was kinda freaking out. Wasn't very easy to locate a support person quickly. Make that phone number EASY TO FIND for emergencies. Turned out that it wasn't really a big deal, but for a little while I was really worried about what was happening. Daniel was very helpful. Might help to put up a list of common situations, like what to do if the program stops responding while transmitting.

I had to make several call to speak with Turbo Tax experts about some questions before filing my 2025 tax returns. The agents I spoke with were all knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Most importantly, they assisted me in completing my 2025 taxes for e filing.

FTC not included on return cover Summary's total tax. Could not remove another (unneeded) state return. It arrived here because my 100% residency in one state was mishandled by TTax. Poor programming on form listing our pensions. Moving amounts from one of us (error) to the other does not edit properly. Had to delete each entry and re-enter it in the correct. Intuit -TTax is very late getting the program ready for customers. Updating frequently during the tax prep season is poor management and/or limited staffing.

I thought the program saved as it went. That was not my case. After entering information, I clicked continue, a colorful circle appeared for 20 minutes. I decided the program froze and rebooted. When I went back into the program it did not give me a chance to continue. I had to retype all the information into the program again. Not happy that I had to do this a second time. this time I saved as I went.

Please make the "use tax" part of the Indiana return easier. Ive got everything on excel, please allow me to copy and past large swaths of data rather than manually entering each value. Also this stupid AI on this review keeps changing my words. Turn it off.

Generally very satisfied with Turbotax. Very easy to use and has accurately identified the areas where I can reduce my tax liability. Does an excellent job guiding the user through the tax process as always and really love the prior year comparison which can highlight areas where more work is needed. I am concerned that the Its Deductable feature has been removed as I relied on that to help me estimate the value of my donated goods. However Deductible Duck seems to work well though there were several "errors" identified in the return relating to providing the details for each donation center that had to be cleaned up at the end which raised some compatibility issues,

Disappointing that retirement planning was not available when program was issued. It would have been nice to have that information available to help decide on the amount of RMD to take on IRAs to determine the taxable income and brackets. Another area that needs vast improvement is when entering individual sales of stock. When you need to enter multiple entries with the same stock from different quarterly purchases of dividends and then their sale you are unable to copy and paste the stock description. Typing each entry when there are 50 to 75 entries is both unnecessarily tedious and frustrating. The rest of the program and entry is fairly straight forward and easy to use. I have used Turbo Tax for many years without any other major criticisms.

TurboTax needs to update the pin field to access more PIN. My current pin is 5 digits, and TurboTax has 4 digits pin. This prevents me from filing my taxes electronically, and thus, I have to print and mail each year. I have been requesting for this for the past 3 years.

I always use the guide me step by step feature. The one thing that is annoying is that after answering each individual question I am returned to the menu at the top and must scroll down to where I left off. Why not return me to my latest position to avoid all the scrolling? Very time consuming.
