Too many errors in the program. Can't print state returns and can't get the link to work that will notify me when I can print it. Had to wait to install numbers in the 1099R section and that link to notofy me only sent me to a form that wasn't relevent. The program for helping with donations is now missing, That was always extremly helpful in tha past.

Horrible experience!!! It they're not going to make the Mac desktop version work, they should kill it. I've use TurboTax Windows for years with few issues. But the Mac version is wholly another experience,. Biggest problem is it repeatedly eats your input when trying to download state returns, but may other issues beyond that.

TurboTax is a very good product, and couple that with Quicken and one can't lose. They say that income taxes are a year-round project and they are right, but with Quicken around during the year it keeps track of everything for its eventual transfer to TurboTax at tax time. Love them!

You need to keep on top of IRS rules and regulations. If I wasn't on top of new rules, I would have fraudulently got over a $5000 refund instead of $200. I had to pay your tax expert $50.00 to confirm my thoughts. Also, your Tier II tax Maximum needs updated. I pay you over $100.00 for tax software and I expect it to be right.

I had two issues with this year's TurboTax. (1) Arizona Form 323: I usually bypass the step-by-step and enter directly to the forms. I have been filing the same forms for AZ credits for many years. This year Form 323 (Credit for Contribution to Private School Tuition Organizations) had a box set at the top to enter school names and addresses, no amounts. I have no idea why that was there as the next box set requested the names of Private School Organizations to which you contributed where you entered the amounts. That first box set is not on the official state form and it made no sense as to why it was there. Plus I was not able to enter the name and amounts for which I made contributions on the second box set. I had to use overrides to get everything in. (2) Downloading data from my financial institution was a mess. A lot of people were having a problem with this. They went through the process of supposedly downloading the data, TTax said it was completed, only to find out the data was not transferred. In order to get it to work, we were being forced to use the MS Edge browser as other browsers would not work, and we had to allow access to any drive on our system. A lot of people would not agree to that. I hope this is fixed for next year.

This was the more frustrating filing ive had sice using Turbo Tax. It offered instead of using my computer to do all online however it wasnt importing any of my info from my account so what good is it. I went back to my computer program and did it as usual and got it all imported from saved returns, I attempted to have it downloaded from my turbo tax account however it wouldnt do that either. I dont know what the issue was this year but frustrating. I even tried to just print my state return instead of eFiling it for $25.00 and instead of only printinig the state as requested it did federal also, which I didnt need to print.

Graphic User Interface changes from last year, in federal return section, made the software more difficult to use, not easier. The VA state section is not much better than using paper forms. The charitable contribution section is still clunky, although a little better than last year. The user should be able to delete all charitable contributions entered at once, instead of each entry one by one. This enables easier comparisons of itemized versus standard deductions. (I want to be able to more easily delete all my charitable contribution information if I end up using the standard deduction.)

I have been using TurboTax for at least 20 years and find it is convenient, easy, efficient, and accurate. If I ever have any questions, I can easily find the information I need within the system. I have no compatibility issues with my computer, and TurboTax has all the features I need to easily file my returns.

When I tried to file my taxes, there was a bug that prevented me from transmitting. I got an error message that looked like this: 'Information Worksheet: Form 1099-Q is still being worked on. Please return after it has been updated.. Taxpayer's First Name: .....' I checked the Intuit Community forum and found that this was a common issue for Oregon users filing a 1099-Q form to report a distribution from a 529 plan. Many users had been raising the problem with TurboTax for weeks, but were repeatedly told it was an issue with an Oregon form or assured that a fix was coming soon. I ended up waiting six weeks for the issue to be resolved. I spent many hours dealing with this issue over the last couple months. I have been using Turbo Tax for decades and this is the first time I have felt like I need to look into another tool for next year...

Good experience, but the HSA part is somewhat confusing. I had HSA distributions from an HSA while I was working but am no longer covered by an HSA since I retired. The questions regarding 'are you covered by an HSA' are open ended. Should I still say 'yes' since I have an HSA account?
