Excellent tool. I've been using turbotax software for many years and have never had a problem, never needed to consult with a tax expert. Software walks you through every step with clear concise instructions. Being able to compare your current year to the previous is very helpful. Preparation is the key to a smooth experience, need to have all your receipts/documentation organized and available.

If you buy TurboTax when it becomes available for the current year, you have to wait to have enough UPDATES before you can use it. And they trickle out even after you electronically file! Turbo Tax doesn't appear to be on top of current year changes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked the addition of the tiles added to income, interest, investments, etc. So much easier to just click and go! I especially like the addition for employment with the Office of Personnel Management but especially for Railroad. I remember 20 years how awkward it was to file SS and railroad. Good job!

I don't know what you all did to turn Turbo Tax software into garbage. I have been using the program for more than 10 years to do my mother's taxes, and it was always very easy. I used for the first time the scan feature for 1099-R's and once scanned much of the data did not appear. I started the old fashion way before scanning and the boxes on my forms did not match up with the template to enter information. I did the State Taxes, and she has never owed State Taxes and now all of a sudden, she does. I'm almost now forced to have a professional tax preparer look this mess I have over!

TurboTax has always been great. This year your updates do not work requiring me to unhook from my internet to continue. In looking online it appears that this is a problem for many if not all users. I have a current computer with Windows 11 but get a failed update every time.

All went well until the end when I had to pay you the $25 filing fee for my ME return. After entering 3 credit cards, you said none were approved. All my cards are up to date with ample credit av available. My first entry you wouldn't allow me to input the correct month for the expiration date. So I opted to apply it to my refund. However, you charged me a $40 processing fee which i did not expect. I believe this was not my fault and would ask you to consider refunding me thar $40 fee. Thank you,

Frustrated with this year's version. One key positive feature WAS It's Deductible and TurboTax did NOT let the user know that it had dropped that feature until after the program was purchased and the user went to donations. Infuriating!!! Also, something is wrong with the interface and importing of documents from Chase bank. Not all my documents showed up and of the ones that did, information was missing and needed to be added during the review. But that information was not available on any of the tax documents that I received from Chase.

I have used TurboTax for many years and I have no complaints about the results I get. However, the endless up-selling attempts are extremely annoying. How many times do I have to click that I do not want to upgrade the program version I use, or that I do not want to pay for expert advice or audit service so that the program understand that I don't want these things? Does Marketing believes that by annoying the customer he will eventually relent and buy something extra?

Turbo Tax is very accurate and informative, best way to accomplish an uncomplicated return. They are a bit pushy on the extras that they want to sell, but I have been able to accomplish the tax task with the turbo tax program for years, without needing any extras.

I've used turbotax for many years and I found the beginning of the process VERY IRRITATING this year to the point that I may not buy turbotax again. I had trouble finding the turbotax package to buy, it kept directing me to just start inputting data but that's not what I wanted. we have a family and even though our taxes are not complicated, I buy the package and we each use it. After a lot of frustration, I found where to buy it. I input my federal taxes and it suggested I save and update so that's what I did. I came back to my computer later to finish my federal and I could see the file in recents but it had 0 data and turbotax couldnt open it so I had to start my federal taxes again. whatever you are doing to make it 'easier' is just making it harder in my opinion. I won't recommend and doubt I'll buy ever again.
