Happy

I like using Turbo Tax. because it is quick, accurate and easy. However, I tried to e-file and had error on submission and I did it twice. I am mailing my forms in instead. I am not happy that I paid $50 for e-filing the state and now I am not e-filing. I really would hope for a reimbursement.

A Great Product!

We have been using TurboTax for years, including some tax years that were fairly complex (when we had kids in college). I am always impressed by the ease of use and the helpful topics with guidance. I also love that when you use it for consecutive years, it pre-fills your information in the next year; and my most complex statements are available to import, saving me a great deal of time. Well worth using!

Almost a great product.

I have been using the computer version of TurboTax Deluxe for many, many years and I have been very satisfied with the product however this time I was charged for the $45 audit service even though I did not select or authorize this. This is disappointing!

Good product...Gets the job done!

I have been using Turbo Tax for more than 20 year to help me prepare and file my taxes. This is the FIRST time that my forms were rejected. My expectation is that Turbo Tax not only guarantees that the forms are completed correctly and accurately, I also expect ZERO issues during the submission process. Given the fact that we are dealing with the US Government, you CANNOT approach the development of tax software using standard agile practices! You CANNOT assume that anything less than "getting it right the first time" is sufficient.

Turbo Tax is great

I have used TurboTax for years and I really like it. This year, I had a couple of glitches though. 1. I had a capital gains that the cost basis was not reported to the government. I was required to send a separate paper form to the IRS after I did the E-file. I have not ever had to do this before. It seems like I should be able to just attach it to the electronic filing. 2. My form 1095-A from the ACA had all zero's in column B. TurboTax correctly prompted me to fill in a number, but I did not know where to get it from and there was no help info to lead me to Healthcare.gov.

Love the turbotax desktop product!

Love it. I have been a user for years; only downside recently is that the desktop app is constantly asking to add more "priced" options, as well as, getting users to try the "online" version, which worries me. I fear it is a forewarning of intention to future non support of desktop versions. I hope I am wrong. I love the product, as is, and having been using it for decades....

just OK

Not enough help without discussing with an agent. I liked the old TurboTax, where the help documents were good; instead, they are always trying to steer you to an agent or talk to someone at TurboTax. I have been using this product for over 30 years.

Still frustrating to use

Used web version of turbo tax last year(2024). Used local install (windows) version for filing 2025. I switched back to the local install because the web version was full of bait and switch pricing. And other lame issues. No useful documents could be found on Intuits website/portal/account (my account) for tax year 2024. Zero. Long story short I now have to mail both federal and state instead of E file. Is the dev team for the web version of turbo tax still run by a bunch of fourth graders?

Major problem with 2025 Turbo Tax Deluxe Arkansas

Turbo Tax Deluxe 2025 Arkansas State After selecting Filing Status 4 (Married filing separately on the same return), Program prompts for selecting "65 Special" tax credit for SPOUSE but does not prompt for selecting "65 Special" tax credit for PRIMARY and automatically applies the "65 Special" tax credit for the PRIMARY! This results in the $6,000 Retirement Exclusion NOT being applied for the PRIMARY!

Something wrong with AGI transfer for verification

AGI for my wife's verification is automatically populating, but when I file my Return, the IRS states that it is incorrect, yet it accepts the same information for my verification. Why could this be happening? I have tried to correct this issue and have refiled 4 separate times, an it keeps getting rejected.
