The Tax program kept crashing closed on me. Also, got caught in an infinite loop which required closing the program. Also, one credit card entry screen wouldn't allow me to enter the exp month for my credit card because it was off the page. Closing out of this crashed the program.

I have used Turbo Tax or over 15 years, and they just seem to be getting worse. First, they no longer have the running tabulation of what is due or will be returned on the top banner. Second, the "convenience charge" for asking to pay with your credit card is beyond absurd and illogical. If someone owes 1000, at your rate of 2.49%, they would be paying $31 to file. Considering most cards only GIVE 1 or 2%, it would actually be a loss. Finally, while there IS fine print, still trying to advertise "Free State" without the filing (an additional $25), is another example of being deceptive and trying to gouge customers at every turn. So MAJORLY disappointed after all these years.

The software was easy to understand and use for the quick completion of my return. If I am paying for the purchase a product, I should not see advertisements within that product. Attempts to upsell the product, or advertisements for other products by the same company within the software that I purchased are not appreciated.

Turbo Tax is a user-friendly program that we've used throughout the years. For the 2025 tax year, I did encounter one problem when it was time to submit the return. The section that asked for both the tax payer and the spouse's adjusted gross income from the previous 2024 tax year was confusing and concerning especially since this section indicated that there could be a delay in processing the return if this information was inaccurate. My husband and I filed a joint return, yet we "both" were asked for our adjusted gross income from the previous year. As a result, we had no choice but to enter the same amount for the adjusted gross income twice, from line 11 of the 2024, 1040-SR U.S. Income Tax Return For Seniors.

I went to sign up for the free audit coverage but the part of the screen at the bottom where it shows to submit, or next, or whatever doesn't show. It is too far down and I can't see it. Therefore I could not submit. And verification of address, phone had the same problem. It was not a matter of scrolling down.

The software is fine. The account system and actually getting it installed is nightmarish to say the least. The worst part of all is they chose to have the software not even work by making it incompatible for Windows 10, which is simply unacceptable. Not working is the worst case scenario. Make Turbo Tax 2026 work with Windows 10, having it not... is pretty much unforgivable.

While I like being able to complete my taxes using Turbo Tax, my return is getting rejected when trying to file electronically. I don't know whether that is because it was rejected last year, but that is very frustrating particularly when the review of my return by Turbo Tax says everything looks good.

It's the software that I use every year, But this year it has some problems. They keep dunning you to pay for extra stuff that should be included. And when they made a problem--something wouldn't "check out" at the end, they asked me to upgrade again or asked me to pay for extra personal help, I just got the answer from ChatGPT. Also, I don't like having to pay an extra $25 to file the small state return, That used to included in the initial purchase price. I just printed out the 11 ages and mailed it for 2 stamps.

Spent hours trying to update and couldn't file without serious troubleshooting on my part. I doubt I will use TT again although up until this year I have been very happy with it. Downloading the patch (which had to be installed 3x before "taking"), turning off windows security features, running as administrator, uninstalling/reinstalling TT over again, etc. Could NOT file until all these issues were resolved. So frustrating and just not worth it!!!

Was able to file the taxes, but the software crashed a few times and I had to go searching for an autosave file, as it didn't find it automatically. Also, had to work around the windows not displaying, and "learn more" function not opening anything. Combine that with the constant advertising for add-ons, and it was overall a much worse experience than it needed to be. Will consider other options in the future.
