This this year's Turbotax Deluxe version did not allow you to right click on an entry and add a supporting statement (note). It was a pain to have to switch to Forms when I wanted to add a supporting statement. I use supporting documents to record account numbers, add breakdown of total numbers, add EIN for charitable organization, etc. Some of this information I was not able to add even when switching to Forms. Please bring back this feature. It also didn't tell me it gave me the senior bonus deduction. I had to search the forms to make sure it was included. A screen telling me it was include and the amount would have been nice.

The version for 2025 was a bit harder to use than previous years. The flow was missing, believe it was due to the software moving ahead of where I expected it to be. Had to back up a couple of times and redo a section because of it. Bottom line it works, will continue using it in the future.

How do I give negative stars? Been using them since like 2008 or earlier.....This was disgusting and horrible. The new Leadership is gross and stupid for ruining this product. Your GREED is apparent. We will absolutely go elsewhere next year. So dumb!

I did use the Live Expert to review and correct the errors that I made which fixed the problems that were identified in the review process. She was very detailed and it took over 2 hours but the end result was complete resolution of the errors. Turbo-Tax has always be a productive application for me. I have used it for several years.

Turbo Tax is extremely helpful for completing taxes. However the new user interface for completing Interest and Dividends entry is very poor. in my opinion.It has been this way for a couple years. It is different from every other interface and looks like it was written by a different company. Combining the Interest, Dividend and Capital Gain/Stock sales sections make it very different to make changes later. If you need to update an Interest entry, You have to scroll through all the different other entries to find the one you want. This is my biggest frustration with the tool.

I have multiple accounts with Schwab and Morgan Stanley. The new screen for entering financial institution 1099s listed the multiple accounts but did not distinguish between them by displaying partial account numbers. It was confusing and frustrating.

I have tax forms from Canada and each year it is difficult to find where these tax forms are to be reported. Although there are some support answers, to my questions about filing Canadian forms NR 4 and NR5, I always feel that I am missing something that may cost me money. For example: reporting the Canadian Pension Plan amount, and the tax paid to Canada for my annual required payout from my Registered Retirement Savings. It always ask for my Canadian tax return, which of course I do not need to file, therefore, I do not get credit for paying the tax on my RIFF

Generally very good to excellent. It asks all the right questions and makes it easy for me to transfer input from forms received into the software. I've been using it forever and it's mostly hassle-free. Got a bit of a scare this year, as the review said I was all set and that there were no errors. I literally hit the Transmit button when it told me I needed to go back and check a few inputs. Turns out that state withholding exceeded state income on some retirement income inputs. In two cases, the 1099-R did not show a state income; in one case, I forgot to input it. But shouldn't this check have come sooner in the process?

1) If it's on a federal tax form, TurboTax should have a field to enter it -- I'm looking at Form 1098, TurboTax doesn't directly ask for what's in Box 10 2) How about a pick-list of "I have [this] form]" and TurboTax leads you through entering that information for processing? 3) Too many cases of "lead you through it" BUT I have to select to be led through it. If I don't own a business, just ask me "Do you own a business?" and when I say NO, let me know I can bypass the sections that are now irrelevant 4) This AI "support" in filling-out this form is annoying -- turns-out I type faster than the AI, so I am getting needlessly auto-corrected which ends-up that I have to slow-down my typing OR I have to correct the AI's "corrections"
