Been using T-Tax since it was version 1.0. I really have no problems because I was an accountant for 30yrs at a large communications company. Prep work is the easy way to file the returns. I use quicken to record all me transactions during the year. Quicken schedules help me summarize everything. I download my own 1099's for my financial Institutions. I input last yeas return and go back to complete the return.

I engaged with JOSEPH for several hours to correct errors I made with a previous filing which was rejected. He was EXCEPTIONAL! He was VERY PATIENT as I scrambled through my papers to find the correct entry information that he suggested. He guided me through the entire form to ensure I had the correct information before filing the return. For a non-technical customer, he guided me through the nuances I needed to know to file an accurate return. He must be one of your finest employees and a credit to your organization. Great except for entering QCD for my RMD's. Took a long time to find. Turbo Tax drop down misleading said I needed to have 1099. Chat room documents misleading--wrong advice. Google search crazy. Finally found it buried in IRA special situations for charitable donations.

This was the most horrible experience I ever had with TurboTax, which I have been using for many years. To start with I had to do the Captcha 10 times just to get to Intuit site to register. Most sites have moved beyond Captchas to other means of verification that the user is not a BOT. Then, you have changed everything to make it harder to enter information. It looks like it is now AI-slop generated by some AI-BOT.

Great software, I've been using it for years. My only gripe is confusing implementation IRC125 and 414(H) for NY State return and it happens almost every year- sometimes it makes you charged twice and sometimes not at all causing big mistakes. Please include couple more qualifying questions and make correspondingly right calculations as differences can be considerable!

I've been using TT for many years. It's always easy to use. My taxes aren't really that complicated, so it's just a matter of knowing what forms I have and where to enter the info from those forms. Lots of great additional info in the ? boxes if I'm ever confused. Solid product, always reliable.

Generally very good to excellent. It asks all the right questions and makes it easy for me to transfer input from forms received into the software. I've been using it forever and it's mostly hassle-free. Got a bit of a scare this year, as the review said I was all set and that there were no errors. I literally hit the Transmit button when it told me I needed to go back and check a few inputs. Turns out that state withholding exceeded state income on some retirement income inputs. In two cases, the 1099-R did not show a state income; in one case, I forgot to input it. But shouldn't this check have come sooner in the process?

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have found it to be very accurate. I did have a problem with year with one item on the State of Arkansas return. I had additional Car Sales Tax which it would not do the State Drop down to show Arkansas and to enter the amount. Lost a partial refund due to this program problem.

Been using it for many years. It is easy to navigate and has the help that you need. I would recommend making it a little easier to figure out where to enter Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD). Maybe title them QCDs instead of just contributions to churches etc.

Turbo tax does not download stock information easily. The forms are no longer easy to follow. I ultimately entered the stock info manually. Also the payment information form is so large it is not easy to press the enter key to get to enter the credit card information.
