Your fed program is good, but your Colorado State form is not accurate. You are missing the fact that colorado requires prepayment of income taxes and there is no prompt in your program to enter any amounts for prepaid income taxes.

Difficult Amended return - many questions answered by 3 different advisors - Thank you all very much ! Most of my problems were caused by starting to do my amended return on a different computer than the one I originally filed on...

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1985. So far, it has been no problem with my returns to both Federal and State agencies. My returns have been very accurate over the years.

I have to file form 1116. Turbotax always screws it up, converting an amount such as 70.29 to 702,900.00. It does this over and over and over again. It converted my interest income to over $700,000,000.

I cannot understand why Turbo Tax has become so poor in the income section of !099 R. The program is unable to understant the entries and worse than that doubled my RMD so that I had a $23,000 prenalty for not withdrawing the required aount! I had withdrawn the exact amount from my IRA that was required but the only thing I could do was to start all over. After many hours of wasted time I was able to finish 1040 correctly and my state taxes. I have used Turbo tax since 1999 and this was the worst year with the program. I purchased the Deluxe and I prefer to use the Desktop version. The 2024 program had a few glitches with the RMD issue but nothing like the 2025. I waited until late February to start my taxes because I wanted all the updates to be in and take effect. Obviously I did not wait longenough. I will not buy Turbo Tax new year.

In general this year's Turbo Tax seems less useful than previous years. It displays too many options of no interest to me. Somehow you need to find a way to make your menu system more user friendly. And hopefully, next year you will have a proper AI system which can sift through your millions of comments and other data to find questions and situations which pertain to obscure questions. I had difficulty finding information about dealing with a United Nations pension. Luckily I was connected to one of your Turbo Tax Experts who had access to more obscure information, which solved my problem. Bravo for real people!

Seem like Turbo Tax is slowly going backwards for explaining what is wanted for some lines on the tax forms. I opened one tab to gain some info or background to better understand what was wanted. It came up totally blank. Use to give Turbo Tax 5 stars but the past couple of years it has been losing my confidence.

I've used Turbo Tax for well over 20 years and this year was awful. First, too many superfluous questions and comments regarding upselling me. Second, I was asked questions regarding my 1099's that I could not answer (and had never been asked in years past) was not on the 1099 itself. Third, during the review part of my return, I kept having to fill out missing information and did --- I CORRECTED ABOUT 5 TIMES. It would not e-file my return. I had to go back and reenter stuff that was already there before my taxes could be e-filed.

TurboTax is a very good product, and couple that with Quicken and one can't lose. They say that income taxes are a year-round project and they are right, but with Quicken around during the year it keeps track of everything for its eventual transfer to TurboTax at tax time. Love them!

I did not enjoy starting my return only to have to stop because a form was not ready to take data. I understand updates but to just not work at all. Also, I encountered many glitches this time where I would go to a specific area, say forms, and could not get back to the input screen. I would have to shut down and come back in.
