Please modify the State of Michigan MI-2210 programming logic to allow users to input tax withholdings based on when they were actually withheld (i.e. attributable to each period) to align with how total income is reported on MI-2210. The TurboTax software currently allocates 25% of total withholdings to each period. This causes underpayments and related penalties and interest when none exist in actuality.

I use Turbo Tax because I have used it for years. I feel like the in app ads get worse every year. Several prompts to try to get me to upgrade or add on services during the process. I paid for the product I needed, I don't want more ads from you during the process. It also seems less reliable than before and doesn't seem like it wants the lowest assessment automatically. At one point it assessed a penalty and then asked if I wanted to do more work to see if it applied. Then it asked me to enter information from last years return to determine it should not be assessed. WHY? I used Turbo Tax last year, I imported the file at the start of the return, the application had everything it needed to make the right choice without me having to look up and manually enter my info from last year. Also, you need better feedback when external imports fail. When attempting to bring in information, it kept telling me to check my login info. Finally I went to the institution and figured out that I needed to enable third party sharing on that side. It would have been useful if the error message said "If you are certain you entered your information correctly, check your account settings to ensure third party data sharing has been enabled." Additionally, the same section does not make it easy to link multiple forms (like 1099-INT and 1099-DIV to a single source when entering them manually. It only lets you select one and says it will ask you about the others later, but it doesn't and then if you try to enter them as an "add" it doesn't let you pick the previously entered entity. I feel like the product is not as reliable as it used to be.

Used to be better. This year I had several issues: 1. I kept getting an error on final check, but it wouldn't take me to the form necessary to fix it, nor was the error helpful. 2. Tried to use the help to find out about my car excise tax, but the help didn't actually provide any useful information. 3. There was information on the federal form (re: donations of goods vs cash) that was not transferred to the state return.

TurboTax is a very good product. It drives the user through all possible considerations. When an entry is not understood, TurboTax provides detailed help, with examples that clarify the requirements of the data being asked for. I have 5 small businesses in my household and TurboTax is super-helpful with them! I have only one suggestion for improvement: clarify in every window which BUSINESS is being worked on vs. TOTAL HOUSEHOLD entries being asked for. Thank you TurboTax for a great product; I've been using your product since 1999 as I recall!

I paid $55 what I thought was a fair price for a great product BUT....Last year, I got a letter from the State of AZ saying I owed so much, I need to pay a fine. This is because I didn't do estimated payments the following year. TURBOTAX DELUXE didn't advise me, didn't warn me, didn't alert me that I triggered some threshold where estimated payments are required. Secondly, after filing my 2025 Fed forms, the IRS stated my Form 8962 required additional info. I answered the questions and your program generated the forms. Perhaps I answered a question wrong around APTC allocation but this indicates TO ME that your grammar and/or syntax is less than perfect. Perhaps the questions are generated/programmed by a non-native speaking individual? I VERY DISAPPOINTED TWO YEARS IN A ROW

Turbo tax definitely makes it so much it easier with the thorough walkthrough to address each filing section. I sincerely appreciate the new feature to tag something if you need to go back and review something and it takes the hassle of trying to find it yourself. I like how I feel a more sense of control of the safety of my privacy especially with sensitive information and know that I don't have to rely on somene else potentially missing something or holding onto my info later. Prayerfully, that turbotax information doesn't end up on dark web anywhere being that any information online puts anyone at risk. I've been using it for years and highly encourage others to do so - especially when I hear the prices that other people pay in-person preparers. Totally a turbo fan and really grateful. Also - I passionately love the ability to bring in prior information from the year before into the current filing. Such a time saver and a relief. Nice touch with the updates too.

Using TurboTax Deluxe in the past has been a pretty straight forward process. Unfortunately, the ability to easily E File a Federal return (free) and mail in a State return (free) has become more cumbersome. Intuit is making it difficult to mail in a State return so it can charge its users an additional $25! I hope you receive enough complaints about this that you either fix the filing process to mimic earlier versions of the software or include a FREE e file option for all states!

TurboTax is straightforward to use. I did not have to use an expert for help. There is a problem with the K-1 form entry section. I was unable to enter all the countries on the K-1 form that I paid taxes to. I could not figure out how to enter the other five countries listed, and the last country listed was "Other countries." That category had the largest amount of revenue and taxes, but there was no choice in the list of countries for that category name. The reason my Trust controller did that is there were 18 countries that just had small amouts of revenue and taxes, some less than a dollar, so they combined them all together.

Overall, I would guess it's improved, but you still ask what I would call dumb questions, especially when you have access to last years return. It's annoying, and unsettling because I stop and wonder why you are asking that question. You have improved, you used to ask way more, but no dumb questions would be the goal. It also might be time to get AI help, because I use ChatGPT a lot, and find it amazing, even live changing. Having an AI option to ask questions with, might be a huge jump into the future for you. I would even pay a small premium to have access to that sort of feature/assistance and help.

Have used TurboTax for 30 years. Very logical, sequential, efficient digital method. Saves me $500/year. Enables me to understand exactly how my taxes are correctly filed. TurboTax data entry takes less time than I'd spend with a paid professional. TurboTax has all the detail, instructions, worksheets, etc. for a top-level analysis. Love Turbo Tax!
