too hard to maneuver back and forth too many steps for easy things (interest and dividends for example) $10 discount is useless for many (unless you have a 2nd state - this was a change in last few years.) Very user unfriendly And trying to upsell every step of the way is tiresome And about 25+ years a user!

Closed out several times during entries and had to reopen. Froze when I was entering information and I had to hard close the app. Additionally, it is not mentioned that I would have to download Rosetta to use the desktop app. It seems to me that Turbo Tax is trying to force users to use their online version. I am very unhappy with this decision. I will look for alternate software next year.

The Federal portion was fine. The State (Mississippi) portion needs some work. There were a number of sections that were not very clear about what was needed. For example, it trying to ask me for income earned from two investments - both of which were the same one with a slightly different name. It took a while to find how to delete one of them. There were others, but I don't remember now what they were. Unfortunately, I didn't keep notes on that which I know isn't much help. Sorry.

It may be my particular tax issues this year, but it seems to that more issues were harder to find the solution than in the past. On the plus side, it is great to have 30 years of tax history stored away so I never need to dig though old dusty returns to find information needed this year.

It did not function as well as previous versions. It was a little flaky on the third party account access creating many questions on the correct completion of information. The printing/save is unclear. I want to save the Turbo Tax file as well as a PDF and this seemed difficult to navigate. During transmission, the program failed and wanted to install updates.

It is too difficult to go thru the filing steps. They repeat themselves, like the state drivers license number. And the state PIN shows once and we are not tld to write it down, Not sure where it resides to go back to get it. It was not clear that the fee to take the cost our of the federal refund was much higher than paying by credit card. The uploading of docs needs a better interface. When I click on that step ther e shold be a checklist of what I can download so when I go back a month or so later I can pick another one that is available. Too hard to go back later and figure out how dowload a W2 or 1099.

Software worked less well this year than previous and had more pushy ads. In particular, I found the instructions less clear in a couple places and it made a potentially costly mistake with my broker's uncovered securities by assuming a 0 basis cost, which should warrant at least a notification like in previous years.

There was an error in the program, that although I put in the correct information that was a shown on my 1099R it kept giving me an error message and would not allow me to file my state return electronically. Your help feature sucks! The exact message was "Box14a For electronic filing, NYS withholdings can not be greater than or equal to gross distribution or state distribution." which was not the case.

I have used your product(s) for many years and. appre ciate their technical proficiency. but most of all your specialists are the best. They are very patient and knowledgeable, understand the product, and make you feel good about yourself- even though most of the time you are the one making the mistakes that they helped correct. The disastrous handling of my SSA1099 form caused a gross under reporting of my taxable social security benefits and total taxable income. Running the Turbo Tax error/accuracy check program is a worthless exercise! Intuit should reimburse me for my Turbo Tax Deluxe purchase! More so, Intuit should refund all the many users that experienced software screwup.
