I paid for the Premier version of turbo tax, which I understood to include both Federal taxes and California state income tax. Yet when filing I was charged another $49.14 for the California income tax. Have I been overcharged by mistake?

I have been using TurboTax since it first came out and have always found it to be an excellent product. Those few times when I have had an issue or a special handling situation, the TurboTax team has always been responsive and helpful.

Program quit unexpectedly near the end, but I think it was a computer problem. No difficulty in finding where I had to enter data. Being able to apply previous year information is a great help.

it was great except for one thing. I did not identify an error on Schedule D i ahswered question yes or no at top of form. I erroneously checked yes instead of no. Now how do i correct this and what do i do to file new return

Printing your forms is terrible. The numbers don't line up on the lines like they did a couple of years ago. The page breaks don't work when printing. And some information is extremely distorted, such as on the end of the Capital Assets.

Turbotax software is not user friendly to me. Had trouble downloading Turbotax 24 to file for tax return. not sure if the previous tax record from Turbotax are being carried forward to the current year.

Turbo Tax has reduced the time that it takes to file my taxes, but has also left me with less understanding of the implications of each amount input. Also, I really miss the tax history report that we used to get.

Process of importing data has a flaw. It deletes previously imported data for an account if that account isn't selected in a subsequent importing from the same institution. In my case it was from the Fidelity.

Generally good program. Main complaint is not being able to retrieve prior years returns prepared with TurboTax. Required to enter the identical information each year.

There is a bug for Illinois 529. Now the accounts were updated with starting with A. However, Turbotax did not accept and could not submit the tax returns. So, i had to use the old account number in order to submit the tax returns.
