Torbotax simplifies the process of preparing and filing both Fed and State taxes. I especially appreciate the feature of being guided through the returns and ability to get clarification on subjects.

This was my first time using Turbo Tax. I was surprised how easy it was and how it could handle what I thought were complicated issues. I had a capital gain on the sale of a rental and it guided me through the necessary paperwork.

Financial information import still sucks when RSU stock trade is involved. I always try it first, but end up reverting back to entering everything manually :-(

I have used TurboTax for eight years and have always felt very grateful for how easy the process is to enter data, respond to questions, review the results, make corrections, and submit our federal and state tax returns.

With every page, the "Next" button should be at the top so that we don't have to waste time by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the page to go to the next session. This will save a lot of time to the user.

The product work well after clearing up some issues with open the software at first but customer service was able to help me out after a couple of interactions with your support people!

I do not like the new format. The importing of data was complex, not accurate and appeared to import data more than once. There was no way to look at the individual categories.

This software needs lots of help. I will not use it again. Additionally, State e-filing was supposedly included in the Premier package I purchased. Then, when I got to the end, I had to pay another $25.

TurboTax does not alert the Filer to penalty and interests you may have paid from a refund. You have to check on the 1040 then there's no explanation.

There appears to be a flaw in the tax software as to how it fills out California state Form FTB 5805. It copies the AGI figures from the Federal return. This is incorrect, since California does not tax Social Security income.
