I love Turbo Tax. Makes tax prep easy. I have one complaint. I was charged $20 for my state filing. I thought I got 1 free state filing with my Turbo Tax fee?

Very easy to use and follow. Only took a short amount of time to complete and file my return., I have used the software every year since it first became available and have been satisfied every year.

Tells me it caught 401k overpayment. Doesn't take me to the 1099R form nor lead me in how to correct it. When I followed the instructions in the Help dialog, it didn't recognize that I had corrected it as asked, and still showed the error.

I explicitly bought a version that was advertised as including state, and then had to pay an additional $25 for state. I probably fall for this every year, so that's on me.

Federal taxes smoother this year. However when moving to Hawaii state flow was choppy. GE tax IDs are not carried over year to year in the program so need to fill them in again.

overall pleased but ... but since you import information from my prior year's return(s) why can't you determine my capital loss carryover from prior years? I see no reason why you can't do that as part of the import process.

Very disappointed with the new format for Interest, Dividends, and Stock transactions. Very confusing now. I don't understand why TT makes changes every year to formats that add nothing.

Very frustrating to use. No way to save documents to my computer and no way to print tax documents. I would select "print" and it appeared to print many times, but never actually printed any tax documents.

Our experience was positive however it was a bit tricky to navigate as we're newly retired and our income docs were not W2's. Finding the correct location to enter this new info (1099-SM) was a bit tricky but became clear with a little digging.

I had a problem with importing from Fidelity Investments. Support could not help me at first because I had a problem with my password. After going back and working on it the problem was solved.
