Overall greatly simplifies tax filing. Letting me work on my own items is helpful. The software needs bigger font. There are some warnings spit out during checking for errors. The instructions are not helpful to find where the error is

1099 misc was too confusing. site did not show my auto renewal so i accidentally purchased twice. too many offers to do an IRA, why dont you give me a checkbox for "dont offer again"

!) TurboTax should not ask RMD questions on 1099-R that are a defined pension plan that is paid out as an annuity 2) TT needs to accept a "/" in a valid USPS address for billing. Such as a fractional street in WI (2 1/2 st)

The product is buggy. The premier version is supposed to accommodate investments but requires lots of manual intervention. Foreign tax credit and 1099 misc are poorly handled.

irs forms should be explained for non CPA persons. Language used by TurboTax is meant for cpa. Too difficult to understand even for PhD in engineering if you do not have a cpa background.

I use Turbotax Premier for my personal taxes and rental properties. The software interface is user friendly and easy. I highly recommend this program for your tax filing needs.

for the first year since the inception of e-filing I was unable to e-file because phantom errors in the passive loss carryovers prevented. I see there have been other comments on this problem, but no solutions.

Lousy interface software. Does not bring data from one product/version to another.... even though its TT. Made me buy 3 different products and still had to enter info manually.

I am not a fan of the new format for deciding whether to download files from the institutions directly or to enter data myself. Everything else is excellent, easy to use and easy to understand.

If I do not efile my State Tax Return Your product makes it almost impossible get the printed docs to file by mail. This is very frustrating, time consuming and disgusting, especially considering the price I pay for your product.
