Lousy software configuration management. Intuit has all year to produce a similar product as previous year and hobbles the printing and file saving function. Worse yet, Intuit fails to notify purchasers of the product that the PRINT function is hobbles and there is a complex workaround. Terrible, terrible software programming quality control, very unprofessional

I have used Turbo Tax for years. However, this year's software was miserable to access and I had a great deal of frustration getting my password accepted, The program itself was less user friendly than in previous years. I seriously considered going to a tax service and have reservations about ever using your products in the future.

Not user friendly interface, require user to download desktop app in order to use license code purchased in store, charge you 40$ if you want to pay with tax return and have to pay 25$ extra to e file state tax. Tax information also doesnt transfer well from online acc to desktop.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have always had a good experience, however, this year, while generally my experience was good, I was unable to file my state return electronically. I attempted to do so numerous times but when I tired to pay for the filing, it always would not process. I had went back and installed any updates to no avail. Finally, I chose to file my return by mail because I was terribly disappointed that the product would no work as promised. I would have given a five star rating otherwise. I wonder if the processing wouldn't work because the program wished for the default to be to have the processing fee deducted from my refund which would have triggered a $40 Turbo Tax processing fee reducing my refund further. It doesn't matter, I have chosen filing my state return by mail.

I've been using Turbo Tax Premier for years and it does the job. BUT, when turning to do more simple retirns, like my sons, it does not tell you he does not have to file! You need to go directly to the IRS tax screening tool to find out very specific requirements. Sometimes it is a question of splitting hairs on unearned income. Turbo Tax come up a little short in that respect. Otherwise a great tool and always educational as well!

The only problem I have is that I do my son's taxes for him also on Turbotax and TT only saves the files in the name of our surname and first initial. His surname and first initial are the same a my husband's so , when I try to retrieve last year's forms, I cannot tell the difference. Please allow more identifying info in the titles of the returns such as the whole name or several initials.

Turbo Tax is much easier than filling out a paper documents. Also, the questions that the IRS ask now are much more complicated than in previous years. Turbo Tax gives great explanations on how to fill out the form and instructions on why the questions are asked.

Lots of unnecessary pages that seem to congratulate you (the user) and/or the programmers - an annoyance I agree. Filing is easy, but I really question the need to charge for state e-filing - a hidden cost. But worst of all, it WILL NOT PRINT my 2024 forms for my records.

I have used TT for many years. This year's version seemed harder to understand. The wording of the questions was sometimes confusing, and should have been more clearly worded. I lived part of the year in each of two states, and the wording of the state returns asking for information allocation to each state was not well handled. Other than living a partial year in each of two states, the return was simple compared to many in the past, and I was quite disappointed. We will not be moving again, so I expect next year's return to be easier, but if it is not, I will stop using Turbo Tax.

I'm totally frustrated with your software. Following the instruction mode isn't helpful at all. It's much easier to choose to do on your own. There is far too much advertising, and it was necessary to go back way to often to change input. I had an terrible time trying to find reconcile line 5b. It ended up being line 5 of a 1099.
