The first problem was handled quite well. The support agent was excellent and very helpful. The second problem did not get resolved. I already sent in a summary of that deal. This wasn't the fault of the agent. Those supporting her were unsuccessful as well. I finally gave up .

We had a little trouble typing in our info for accounts with a bank that wasn't listed (Synchrony Bank) but we were able to figure it out. Also the Foreign Taxes Paid was a little difficult to navigate. All in all, it was a pain-free way to file our taxes. We loved that our last year's info was right there to compare.

It is not user friendly to re-open to complete filing at a later date. Glitches in the program don't bring you back to where you left off, you get asked to start a new return and you have to figure out how to get your saved file re-opened. It could very easily have a tab that says "Start where you left off on xx/xx/xxxx."

Not as easy as in the past. I couldn't follow some of the answers and I didn't understand some of the questions, nor the explanations. I've used TurboTax for at least 20 years. This was the most challenging year. I'm going to try a different program next year and save myself the time and frustration.

Hello. TT Premier Desktop is an amazing product. Every year it seems a little better, but perfection is difficult due to changing federal and state tax laws. My personal view is that TTP would benefit from more guided awareness of Schedule K-1s. In addition, more hand holding in entering 1099 data. TT sometimes seems oblivious to current 1099 trends. IRAs are another area where TT appears clueless to a typical taxpayer. Or, maybe it's only me . . .

I've been a Turbo Tax user for at least 15 years. SInce one uses it only once a year subtle changes year-to-year at times make each year an educational experience. One item, that trips me up is where one who wants to rollover the refund to next years to next year inputs that fact.

I have the most current Adobe Acrobat and I had to still print my state return 2 pages at a time to mail it in. If I tried to print the whole AZ 12 page state return, it would only print the Turbo cover sheet and the 1st page of the AZ 2024 140 tax return. Bunmer! Turbo overall is pretty good but you need to make it more user friendly and only allow one locatoin to input data when you sell a residential rental property. That whole topic needs to be made more user friendly, especially when you have capital improvements that you did over the yrs and now that you have sold the main property, how do u deal with "selling" each improvement when they are part of the main apt bld., for example. TURBO PREMIER is not real clear on that topic.

Overall it is straight forward and helpful to navigate; One issue is you need to make it easier to understand where to enter the unique IRS IP PIN you can get from them. It would also be helpful to be able to ask questions about something like that while you are in the software and get at a minimum an AI response instead of being forwarded to some on line question and answer that may not be relevant. \ Drop the nickname entry below; it rejected numerous of my entries.

I've used TurboTax for as long as I can remember and have always had a high degree of trust in it. This year I feel that the quality of the release was not what I've come to expect. I was stopped several times by little bugs that I had to figure out how to work around. One of these adventures cost me the better part of a day to resolve. I hope that next year's release returns to the high standard you've set for decades.

This year, the software is harder to use. Not intuitive in entering data. When it found error, it just showed which line was in the error, but did not bring you to that form to correct it. The advertisement to sell you something is constantly and repeatedly coming up, even after you declined it.
