I've been using it for years. My situation is relatively uncomplicated. My situation hasn't changed much in many years. I know the tax laws fairly well. THEREFORE my tax return work should be easy. TurboTax should remember everything from last year and use that as a starting point. Also, if I neglect something, I should be able to go to the spot where I need to go - without going through a dozen other pages. MY COMPLAINT is that TurboTax has gotten more complicated. This is probably the result of ridiculously complicated tax laws, but I'm still unhappy.

I've used turbo tax for a number of years and have found it very helpful in getting me through my taxes. Most years the step by step doesn't pose any issues. When I have an unusual situation, the help docs and online community forum generally get me through the matter.

You kept telling me Standard Deductions were more than what I entered. However, the click on using Standard Deductions were never on any form. How do I choose to use the Standard Deductions. It was not user friendly and easy as past Turbotax's I have had and used.

When I attempt to e file using desktop premier version, it won't allow me to e file with a dialog showing "we can't e file your return ... Unable to locate attachment at /attachment/form8949exceptionreportingstatement-2.pdf". I suspect the reason might be due to some errors of previously entering my employee RSU stock sale. Following this person's advice, I suspect cause might be missing PDF file required in one of my employee stock sale entry in 1099-B section. I entered it in "batch" rather than listing each item, which caused the software to ask for PDF attachement. I fixed the issue by entering employee stock sale as single item. TurboTax Premier desktop software, however, doesn't tell me anything about the missing required PDF attachment

this latest version is confusing and not transparent. The popups are a pain in the neck and slow down the process. No apparent need for these popups for information that is already clear. You don't need access to my block chain and computer. That is private information.

Pretty good but difficult to navigate from one topic to another. needed to print out intermediate steps to keep track of information. saved multiple copies in order not to lose information. If i screwed up something i would go back to previous copy and start again.

You are only being rated fair because 1) you no longer provide CD's which is critical to my preferred way of using a computer, 2) your tech support for loading Turbotax onto a Mac and PC was not only terrible but falsely claimed that I could not use one license for both a Mac and a PC, 3) the answer on both the internet and from tech support was that I needed to buy two copies of Turbotax to load Turbotax (Premier) on a Mac and then a PC was not only false but it will be unacceptable in future years 4) Turbotax questions on state taxes are basically false since I live in Florida and it is quite agravating that I got at least 4 requests to file state taxes after Turbotax determined I did not need to file state taxes 5) the quality of your product has deteriorated since 2022.

Completing the return on my MacBook Air was fairly easy, however the program failed when I attempted to print a review before filing. Trying to find help brought me to a page where other Mac users stated the same issues but there was NO resolution. Very annoying!

I do not like the format of the Capital Gains, Interest, and Dividends entry. I much prefer the format used in the 2023 Turbo Tax. Thank you for handling the Foreign Tax situation with the1116 form. I do not have Adobe and have no need for it . So I did have a bit of a problem using the standard windows print, However i think the problem lies with the DUMB ARM processor chip.

I have used TurboTax for the last 22 years. It has made the task of figuring out and filling my taxes much easier even as my tax situation has changed over the years. In my estimation it is a good investment. That doesn't mean there isn't some improvement that could be made.
