Service was excellent, had to talk to a Turbo Tax rep and he was great and walked me through the process i was having trouble with. I really prefer using the floppy disc, initially the system would not collect the info from my turbo tax file from 2023, but it finally did when I started the process over from the start.

TurboTax is quite good and fairly reliable. I did it AGAIN with the stupid PIN number filing... just put my own and I hadn't got my wife's PIN number. But the stupid software allowed me to e-file regardless!!! So it was rejected and I had to go through it all again. I'm a programmer... I KNOW it's a simple requirement to make users enter both PIN numbers (you see this everywhere, like, with an asterisk for "required"... duh!). My one beef that wasted a lot of time was where for retirees' pensions, it's not at all clear whether you need to choose "3 year rule," "standard rule," or "no rule (none of the above."

I always have a hard time getting the one free state product download that comes with the CD and therefore end up paying more than I really should for Turbo tax. Also for some reason this year the information from prior years was not coming up when I use Turbo tax consecutively.

Fix the tax payer pin / IP PIN problem! Multiple calls to IRS did not fix this. We had to paper file now for the second year in a row. Turbo Tax collected fees for state e-submittal but I cannot submit it due to tax payer pin being incorrect (IP PIN characters one too many). Cannot retrieve fees spent on state filing that never happened.

Poorly designed. Full of mistakes, Intentionally coded wrongfully to punish users. Incomplete and intentionally written and insists that user pay maximum tax. turbotax is pushing and force users to buy their products. very dishonest and lack of integrity. If tax payer does not have basic knowledge, Turbotax cheat and punish user to pay superfluous amount to IRS. Turtax is not even have a complaint department to fix the problems.

Used to be the best product, and now they are all about the upsell. $83 JUNK! with no help or answers unless I paid more money. I hope the people that make it are ashamed of what garbage their products have become. There used to be support. nothing now.

TurboTax Premier is easy to use! I like how it asks you the right questions and cross checks your answers with others you've answered so there is consistency in your return and to eliminate errors in your return. I also like the review it does to catch any errors and give you the opportunity to correct those errors before you file your return. Electronic filing is also a great feature.

I had a lot of trouble down loading updates for turbo tax this year. It kept freezing up on me. I spent hours jumping through hoops to try to get some updates to download and install. My computer is one year old and is specifically used for taxes. I've used turbo tax for over 20 years and will try again next year. If I have the same problems, I will be looking elsewhere for my tax software.

There is a bug in entering K1 information. US and foreign gain and loss amounts specified against the total amount. If you accidently click in the foreign column and leave the box a $0 amount is entered and can not be removed. The review says there is an error that needs to be review and to goes to that $0 amount and says no information has been entered for the source of the $0. I had to delete the K1 and start it over to correct that issue.

As far as doing your own taxes at a reasonable cost, TurboTax cannot be beat. However this year was the first year that I had true frustration with the product. The fact that TurboTax Premier 24 did not support my Mac OS unless the computer was running at least an OS version 13.0 was VERY DISAPPOINTING. I would like to know whether it was Intuit or Apple (or a combination of the 2) to blame for this, but I want my voice to be heard on this matter.
