I had to buy new computer to run this unfriendly program on windows 11. I have used the program for well over 10 years and this will be the last year.

TurboTax is user-friendly and handles relatively complex tax filings. TurboTax made handling of foreign taxes and dividends much easier than in previous years. They were responsive to my input that I sent in.

I used the web version last year and HATED it, plus Turbo Tax made an error that cost me $$. The desktop version is much easierr to navigate and actually see what you are doing and where the information goes on the forms

Entering 1099R was circular regarding SEP boxes. Also when entering 1099 B info it first ask for individual transaction. i had to exit and reopen the topic in order to just enter the summary.

I have used Turbo Tax for 30+ years and this is the worst release yet. Things that were easy before were now complicated and visa versa. Was not happy with the product. It also had bugs.

Rental Property Real Estate sales all screwed up. Was on the phone with Turbotax for 3 hours and they agreed the program is buggy, missing forms and calculating incorrectly this year.

QCD entry was not intuitive at all. Need to clean it up. Also no alert that updates were required until I actually tried to transmit the file. Another minus for TT. I'm tempted to try another tax prep product next year.

EVERYTHING WAS HARD TO WORK WITH. I HAD TO GO OVER IT MANY TIMES . ENDED UP MAILING MY NJ TAX BECAUSE THE FILING WAS SO COMPLICATED. I ALWAYS USED TURBO TAX BEFORE AND IT WAS NEVER THIS HARD.

I found the flow of the topics and questions made sense and kept me on track. I did have an issue with 1099-R box 14 but just continued to ask questions and received the answer - LOOK AT BOC 16.

No support for windows 10. Review process pales in comparison to years ago. Hate that they have dumbed down the downloadable version to support a crappy browser interface.
