Self-Guidance

It is easy to navigate through the return. I don't have to go through the whole thing and anticipate what kinds of questions I need to ask. I can concentrate on just what I need to enter into my return.

NYS payments/refunds/apply to next yr NOT CORRECT

New York State personal income taxes: amounts due, applying refunds, estimates, and deposit or payment options are INFLEXIBLE, DIFFICULT TO LOCATE, and DO NOT CONFORM WITH NEW YORK STATE INSTRUCTIONS. Please please do better next year!

Update erased all of my work

The system worked fine until; the most recent update and it cleared everything I had done the day before and I had to start from the beginning and that was horrible. Fix this problem and the program froze more often after the update than before.

2025 DESKTOP INDIVIDUAL TT

Upfront cover while buying says Fed & 1 State Free. However, towards the end for just one State e-file it took $45 extra. This is misleadingly manipultive. Not acceptable though!

TT 2025 works!

A bit more complicated this year, with stocks, income notes & ETF products. It took a little longer than last year but all the answers were there. Little hard to find all the retirement deductions but I'll take it!

Has Some Issues

I couldn't do my taxes without Turbo Tax. However, when filling out Form 1099-NEC, it wouldn't let me put in the same state for state tax withheld and state tax income. I had to edit the actual 1099-NEC form so that I could continue.
