They add the premium charge for State e-file

False advertising that state e-file costs only $20.00. Credit card charge for State E-file does not go through and have to use the Federal refund, so Turbotax can add the additional fee of premium service. Should start a class action suit

desk top version is good

Turbo tax can be difficult to fill out and I didn't like the sales pitch for the online version but if finally complete the return in a workman manner.

DUPLICATE DOWNLOAD OF INCOME

TurboTax did not identify duplicate downloaded income from my Schwab 1099-B, which made me wonder if folks are aware of this problem..and paid additional taxes without reconciling their 1099B statement to TurboTax prior to E-File?

Schedule B problem

The totals of ordinary and qualified dividends don't match between the schedule B and the schedule B smart worksheet. It appears the values of the first page of the smart worksheet are not added to the total. I have a $1728 difference.

Turbot Tax Ease of Use

I like that I can input the info from my previous years tax return helping eliminate redundant input as well as guiding me through the current year filing process, without having to waste time on topics that do not pertain to my situation.

pretty straight forward

Program dropped once. Luckily I had saved at one point, so only had to redo part of it. That had never happened to me before. Otherwise pretty straight forward

Turbo Tax use to be better

Turbo Tax is not as good as it used to be. They need to bring back features like's it's deductible and give users the value of items that were donated and ect.

TurboTax Personal remains top-notch.

As a long-time user (since 1985) of TurboTax, I was again pleased with the thoroughness of the Personal software DESPITE a less-than-stellar experience with TurboTax Business this year (which was much less polished than the Personal software).

my daughter used this and had difficulty. printer choices not convenient-should have separate choices for printing state and federal. Fee for processing is very bad. Saying that e-filing is free is not correct. Don't say that.

Absolutely wonderful Tax Software

Easy to use and love the step by step instructions. Have used TurboTax desktop software for over 10 years and have never had an issue with doing my taxes. Not a fan of the on.line web page versions
