As usual the TurboTax experience was fine. One glitch this year was with the import of 1099 data from Morgan Stanley. The work around was to input the information into the software manually. Otherwise, all good.

You hide information, you are supposed to ask me all the important questions? Why does my return have to reject several times until I find where to put the IP Pin???? Disappointing for what I pay!

You pay for the program up front and it will still charge more at the end. They leak and sell your data too. Free file direct from the irs needs to be the future.

Generally a good program. Problems encountered - not able to handle both ABP and accrued interest on bonds. Also not able to handle multiple IRA accounts with US interest for Oregon, but I was able to enter my own total.

My original copy of the authorization code came in and landed in JUNK while I was in the hospital. it was subsequently trashed before I could see it. QMID codes can be found using CoPilot or an equivalent tool.

Turbo Tax was excellent in completing the return but the e-filing worked successfully for Federal but failed for State (MN) e-filing which was very frustrating.

very frustrated with this new Tubotax, seems it is always asking for us to purchase extra services. My returns from previous years did not carry forward to this new Turbotax.

1, When finished with a topic, it jumps back to the beginning rather than stay where you last left off. 2. Graphics & wit showing its age. 3. Some self-guides show as 'not yet available" yet forms are available.

Did not allow me to indicate which 2024 tax file to use. Grabbed a "what if" for 2025 to determine potential 2025 tax liability. A "forecast" function would be appreciated to account for known income/expense changes expected in the following year.
