Not as good as previous years. My financial institution provides a combined 1099. This year Turbo Tax did not parse or separate out 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, or 1099-B. It only saw the first 1099. I had to manually enter the remaining 1099s.

Although I filed using the standard deduction, I found the charitable deductions I entered did not flow up to the page listing deductions. The system indicated it was a open item on the deduction page. I am not sure why??

Excellent, needs a couple of tweaks: I urge you include both the question about main home in US for more than half the year and input of the IRS Identity PIN in the initial Personal Info interview!

Overpriced, and Intuit (the parent company of turbotax) works behind the scenes to keep tax filing complicated - !!and to keep the IRS from being able to offer cheaper alternatives.

You don't ask for a government pin before filing. Then you file and the return gets rejected. Then for a non teck type it is a nightmare trying to add it to Turbotax. Why?

A lot of bugs and issues this year with the software. I've been using TurboTax for about three decades and this is the first time I've thought about using anything else. A little more quality control next year would be very helpful.

I've been using the Desktop version for years and years. I find the software accurate, and whenever I call TT with a question, I find the Associate very knowledegable.

I cannot cancel an amend for my federal 2025 taxes. I did a sample amend a return to help out someone thinking I could just not save the file. Desktop Turbotax autosaved the file and I can't get rid of the amend.

I always gave TT 5 Stars but this tax year (2025), they got too cutesy. I had to re-read many sections to understand what information was required. I liked the previous editions. Will still use TT.

new changes made to tax software this year make it more difficult to navigate, hopefully you will go back to previous software or i might jump ship next year
