It got more difficult to use. I got several moments to search internet to know what I need to enter. descriptions are not intuitive enough. explanations should come with real-life word and then for the experts.

Turbo tax charge too much for State e- filing $25 and illegal chrged $45 for Turbo Tax Premium 2025. I am really frustrate to make phone call, it wait at least 30-60 minutes long.

Great product! Turbo Tax makes filling out of forms relatively simple and makes fast! I especially like the checks/reviews that it has. The tool's by-topic workflows make the tool very intuitive.

TurboTax Premier is accurate, easy, and fills forms I would not know how to do. I like the forms method and simply enter everything directly. Simultaneously, I keep an Excel spreadsheet as a double-check. However, I am quite disappointed in the loss of Its Deductible, since I donate quite a bit. This software gave me confidence in pricing the donated items.

TurboTax works pretty well overall. I had some difficulty importing some of my investment information (from one investment broker -- Charles Schwab) early on. And I also had some "challenges" reporting my Foreign Taxes Paid information (on IRS Form 1116) because of having foreign tax information from five different 1099s (from three different investment brokers) that (each) had information on them from up to three foreign countries and three RICs (mutual funds).

2024 Turbo Tax proved much more difficult to understand and use. The import section was particulerly difficult and was never sure that it had picked up all rlevant information. I needed to perform manual alterations and had difficulty in making changes. It was also totally unclear how to do manual entry. I guess it just got picked up later but I was never sure. I had to go and manually check everything. My wifi is somewhat spotty and TurboTax now uses it extensively sometimes being unusable when the internet is down and won't even start until having checked for updates.

Tax prep was involved but TurboTax helped keep me on track and able to finish all the necessary detailed information. Importing my 1099s made life MUCH simpler and saved me from any potential typos. Did not have any confusion about the income or deductions involved so no need for professional assistance. May need it next year.

I am sure the product works better if I weren't filling a return that I missed in 2022, but because I couldn't upload documents directly from my brokerage account or my computer, it was difficult and thanks to the very helpful support team, I was able to manage. It was great to just have someone look at what I was entering. Also, Marquis stayed over the cut-off work hours to walk be through some pressing issues because I was very confused. ,

Dislike the dark pattern of filling out state taxes before being informed of $25 fee, and dark pattern of attempting to add a $45 fee for deducting fee from refund without fee being presented in standard way (it's bolded but not in the usual Total: Price format). While I understand "line must go up" every quarter which is NOT Intuit's fault, I do hope you have team members internally advocating against distasteful revenue enhancement tactics. Thank you.

Own Stock in INTUIT bt. in batches over 25 Years (over 100K) - Love TurboTax except Every Year I sign up Tax Defense - IRS hates me deducting Margin Interest on Schedule C although am a Frequent Trader and case law of Paoli -the Tax Court Judge has allowed it - THE PROBLEM IS TAXAUDIT throws their hands out as soon as the IRS claims that it is a Fraud - Then am left to defend by Hiring a Tax Attorney myself.
