Overall I am very satisfied with TurboTax Premier; I have used it for many years now. Occasionally there are small problems for the user, but this is due more to the complexity of the tax code than to any inherent problems with the software itself.

my daughter used this and had difficulty. printer choices not convenient-should have separate choices for printing state and federal. Fee for processing is very bad. Saying that e-filing is free is not correct. Don't say that.

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years using many states and duty stations and this year had a heck of a time with errors. I do taxes for all my family members and caused me research many entries. It too twice as long as previous years.

I ran into more issues this time with Turbo Tax. I understand its intent isn't to teach me about tax laws, but there was no explanation for the reasons behind TT telling me it was better to itemize than to take the standard deduction.

Does not import automatically from previous year 2024 even though it was done with Turbotax. I had to open 2024 and print it to PDF for import into 2025. That is, Turbotax did not find the files even though they were done via Turbotax 2024.

This year lacked some of the flexibility of previous years. It was not possible to specify the amount of my state refund from the return to pay 2026 estimated taxes. This was disappointing.

very easy to follow the interview question process. Seamless and love the interface of refund amount summary window as I progress through the return. Have used Turbo Tax going on 7 years.

TurboTax 2025 was my worst experience with the software to date. I don't know if this was because I changed from Windows to MacOS or if it is equally bad on ALL platforms.

Since 1995, I have used TurboTax to do my taxes. 30 years of accurate, detailed federal and state taxes. My wife and I both worked and we each had our own business. I have been able to do them all in TurboTax Premier. I would never change.

during review It checks boxes that I did not check, for example "deposing of assets in form K-1" I had to go back and find it and uncheck it. When you go back and forth, it loses its space.
