Very easy to use the app and check in anytime. It provides a great picture quality . Now. Feel more in control and I feel safer that I can see what is happening in front of our house all the time.

I bought these to replace my E**y 2K floodlight cams. I took these back. Very slow 5 second motion detection time compared to the 1/2 second for the E**y cams. Also, my research indicated that the Swann were compatible with Roku TV's and Roku sticks so I could view my cameras on live TV. They are not compatible. You can only view the cameras on a Smart phone or iPad. Good picture though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving this floodlight security camera, I didn't realize this had to hardwired. I thought it was like a plug & play. Well with that being said, I wanted this camera to go in the back of my house and had to remove the existing back porch light. My neighbor installed it (who's a certified electrician) and there were no issues at all and didn't take long to install it (just a couple of wires and it was done). You will need to download the app and proceed with the various settings. That part was pretty simple and easy to do. The camera is great quality and I'm able to see quite a bit from the area I chose to keep an eye on (car & shed). I like how you can control the brightness of the floodlight (I didn't want it bothering my neighbor). Definitely a good brand that I recommend. I didn't experience any major problems.

The connection was seamless to my Internet and the quality on the app is amazing. I love the fact that I can control how long the light stays on. The motion sensor is super sensitive so it turns on immediately helping for night time adventures. There isn't anything I don't like about the security camera. The app is super easy to use overall highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swann 4K floodlight has everything I was looking for in one super easy to install package. It's like getting 7 items for the price of 1! It came with 2 independent, fully adjustable and dimmable flood lights, motion and infra-red detectors, an intercom, a camera, and a recorder. It also came with a micro-SD card, and you can get 60 days of cloud storage and other nice perks if you get a "secure" plan. There are many setting options you can personalize to suit you and you schedule. As for the installation, it was very easy and has a great feature that few others have--you mount the fixture base to the junction box and wire it up. Then just plug the whole fixture into the base and tighten one screw. So much easier than trying to hold up everything while trying to connect wires and get everything lined up to get a screw started. Very pleased with this product!.

The cameras work great when the app is responsive. The cameras were easy to install and to pair up, they have a great picture and the lights are nice an bright. The only reason I rate these as a 3 is for the frustration the app causes.

I like the hardwired version best as it's reliable and easy to install; an average DIY'er will have no problems. Weatherized and nice bright security light plus camera assures a good picture even in lower light situations...a problem many other cameras have in common. Now for the software portion - first of all, this does work with Alexa and Google but if you are like myself, you may have thought this could be integrated with an existing security system from either/both...it does not. I can be controlled with voice prompts but the actual app required for using this is the Swan app...not google or alexa. I found that to be a major disappointment since I already own those and wanted to expand with the hardware. To use all the features you will need the Swan app which is a second app. Again, this was my own misunderstanding so buyers should fully understand what this can and can't do.
