The SWIFI-4KFLOCAM floodlight camera is excellent. I recently purchased a forth unit for a vacation home. Initial setup is reasonably simple as is viewing and modifying the settings through the Swann security app. The camera resolution and wide viewing angle is excellent. The floodlight itself also works great with brightness level and sensitivity controls. I've got one mounted on the underside of an eave and a couple over a garage and on a shed. I use different sensitivity levels on each based on their height and distance from expected ground traffic. The detection notification and video recording playback works well. My strong suggestion is to configure the WIFI and other settings prior to installing the unit to save having to climb up and down to scan barcodes and hit reset buttons. Once configured, the unit will reboot with all settings when power at the final location is established...

Pros I own two of these, I have had one of them for a long time and it works and looks perfect. Incredible image. I will probably buy one more in the future. I can access everything when away and it says connected very well to my internet ,better than anything Google sells. It is almost hard to believe how super easy to install. Cons The rotor things that control the camera and the lights are not well thought out and can not be rotated as much as I would have expected, this limits some of the locations I planning on using these. Amazing how a cheap plastic piece will keep me from buying 3-5 more of these for my barn and outbuildings. The instructions that came with the second camera were wrong. It is real easy to install but it won't work if you use the current set of instructions. Just download the app, scan the code on the device and it starts working. It does not integrate with the Swan DVR. I was thinking I would buy other parts of the Swan system but this is not a starting point for a home security. I can't seem to get my spouse to be able to access these on the app.

Currently testing to early to say but first thing to note is that you need very good WiFi signal in my case anything less than 70% you struggle to download footage however the clarity of the video capture is great. I think I'm going to need an extender to improve the access speed.

Good bargain. The lights work well. The cameras have good images.

Outdoor lighting with a camera, great idea! Wires into a standard outdoor outlet, sends pictures to your phone, has voice and noise alerts.

I ordered this a month ago and I'm so unhappy that I did.

Sensitivity is mediocre - won't respond to anything, except within what I consider a short distance. Setting up the times it should detect and when it shouldn't is confusing and not easy. The worst part of this camera is the time it takes to respond when you want to look at live or recorded videos. I think the signal has to go around the world a few times until it ends up in maybe China, when you are finally able to view live or recordings. It might be due to their slow servers. I have a different brand that is better but costs a lot more. If better than nothing is OK, then buy it.

The build and product quality are excellent and 4K video is also very good. However, Swann needs to do more to offer customers a decent security solution. The only interface to this camera is a mobile app, which means dealing with a small viewport and limited, laggy controls and laggy download from the onboard storage. There's no Windows console application at all, which is extremely disappointing. I have subscribed to the Swann cloud service, but it doesn't appear to have any browser interface to access the video stream or stored content. So I'm stuck with the Android app. Casting to my high-end, near new Sony TV doesn't work - all that displays on the TV is the word: "Swann". So there is a minimalist approach to providing interfaces for customers. The lights on the hardware are not replaceable so, when a light goes belly-up, the whole unit has to be replaced. In every other respect, the hardware is great so that helps to redeem the product and I may purchase more of these.

This 4K Floodlight Security Camera is good. I bought two cameras, one for front yard and one for back yard. I have just installed the front and here are my expericenes. 1) Like that I can mount it on wall and hive ceiling. 2) Setup is a little involved, as a first timer, you will miss some setup features and might be confusing at times but soon as you clear it then you will be fine. I thought some setup items could have been easier. 3)After setup and pairing to my wifi, it dropped connection couple of time but after that it was fine. 4) Daytime camera is GREAT, clear and sharp, I can see 60ft away to my street. 5) Nighttime camera (BW) is OK but not very clear. 6) Nighttime camera (nightvision) is OK when the floodlight turn-on. 7) The Floodlight brightness is GOOD but it does not turn-on until object is about 10ft or less away. This is the WORST feature. The floodlight should be abl to detect object at least 20ft-30tf away and turn-on. Nighttime security is VERY IMPORTANT and this feature should be enhanced to detect object sooner. Most of the time floodlight wouldn't turn-on until object is 1 second before line of slight. 8) Video recording is GOOD, I have added SD card with more capacity. 9) The line of slight or camera view angle is not that great, its covering about 120 degress. It will be great to cover around 130 degrees or more. See attached screenshots. 10) All camera features and available and no pressure to signup for any subscription. 11) The mobile app is great as its does not drain my mobile phone battery. 12) These are my full 3 months review. I could have given 3.5 stars but no option for that and it would'nt be fair to give 3 stars which is fair hence 4 stars. With above mentioned enhancements this product can make 5 stars. 13) Finally, I recommend ths floodlight camera and I am helping my sister purchase two of this camera.
