Love the product! Ice maker and water function are great and the spare ice storage in the freezer compliments the smaller ice maker tray. Lots of storage inside and freezer is very roomy. The app is a nice touch for monitoring water filter status.

Poor LG quality control. Refrigerator ice maker is not dispensing ice, it appears the ice is slightly melting causing the ice to refreeze and clump-up. Refrigerator has uneven temperatures, varying 6 degrees between shelfs. Doors cannot be adjusted properly LG tech. could not solve issues.

The fridge has been great and really increases the space we have now. The ice maker is a bit small in terms of how much ice it can store at a time but if has not been an issue yet. The fridge also looks very nice but the metal covering the front scratches pretty easily and tends to show dirt and messy hands pretty easily. We already had the door scratched due to fridge magnets and have not figured out a good way to repair it yet (but still hoping to find a solution). Overall I really like the fridge and would recommend getting one with a few caveats.

I’m enjoying my new refrigerator/freezer. There is plenty of room for storage in the refrigerator as well as in the freezer. However, I would have liked the ice and water dispensers to be able to dispense even when the right side refrigerator door is open. Also, the opening for the dispenser needs to be about 2-3 inches taller to accommodate the drink bottles we use frequently. The finish is indeed fingerprint proof which is a great feature.

My previous fridge was a side by side which had a lot of unusable space, and things fell out all the time. The freezer drawer on this fridge is big enough for a large turkey which I couldn’t do with my side by side.

We love this refrigerator! It’s so quiet we don’t even know it is on. It’s well designed with the ice maker in the door, which leaves much more interior room. The stainless steel finish is quite adept at not revealing a lot of finger/hand prints. The interior is also well lit.

Love the new refrigerator but the ice maker in the door could be better. If you don't use the ice regularly the ice will freeze and stick and you will have a hard time getting the box out of the refrigerator to empty it. You have to dispense some in a glass to loosen it before you can take and empty the ice ou.

I purchased the refrigerator (LRFS28XBS) a couple of weeks ago. Decent basic frig. Keeping everything cold. Fairly quiet. Petty annoyances - right crisper requires both frig doors to be opened, left crisper you can open with just one frig door open. The cubed ice dispenser has already clogged. There is periodic light frost covering the shelves in the freezer section. The door with the ice mechanism is heavy. If you keep glass jars on that side and release the door it slams and makes a racket. If you keep butter etc on that door, it is fine.
