Our power was out for 4 days and our neighbor had a generator. They were generous enough to offer us to plug into theirs to keep our refrigerator running. I decided we needed one of our own and was impressed with the description and features of the WGen9500, so I purchased one.

Just purchased this machine after suffering through separate power outages. Dual fuel and remote start should come in handy. Would be great to have the ability to run from an auxiliary fuel tank. Pick point and amp meter would put this over the top. Will rate 5 stars when it pulls us through the next outage.

This is my second Westinghouse generator. The first one is 10 years old and has always worked great. It is a 9500W and wanted to go bigger for my home with this 12500W. The 9500 will go to the cabin up north to continue its life. The new generator was delivered in perfect condition, minor assembly was easy and fired up instantly. Thanks for a great product.

I am so happy to have the opportunity to purchase this generator. I have home and family that deserve the best when natural disasters and storms hit and the power goes out. This unit is my preventive act to the unknown. It has found its home and when and if called upon will do its job. Well worth the investment for my family

I bought my generator about a month ago and been using it non stop. The remote start is great especially when we have bad weather and I’m inside. So far it’s been running great and no issues with power or power dropping at all. Glad I did the dual fuel. Thanks for a great product.

Just purchased, and the installation was very simple, took less then 15min. Fired right up, well built, the option for either gas or Lp is awesome. Remote start is a nice added bonus. Comes with everything you need to start, just add the fuel.

Bought this to replace the 16 year old one for emergency use during hurricane power outages. We selected this one due to the dual fuel option. We plan on using mostly propane - better for the environment. Easy minimal assembly. Started right up. Couple issues with manual - manual gives directions for connecting battery that are not for this one. Also, the electric start says engine will auto choke, but we had to put choke on for it to start. That was initial start, so maybe it will work auto later. The crank start worked right away. We ran it on propane. Haven't used it yet, and hope we don't have to, but it seems to be just what we need.

The generator arrived today and was easy to assemble, considering I only needed to install the feet and wheels and add oil (provided) and fuel. The generator started right away using both gasoline and propane. The true test will come when it has to provide power during an outage, but now I will continue during the burn-in phase.

Generator has all the features you would ever need for camping, job site or as Emergency back up as I used it for. Wired in the 50 amp service for all lights, tv, internet, wall out lets, water heater and fan motor on HVAC. Added 30 amp service for just the AC condenser and we now have 100% back up for power outage or ice / winter storms. Also will run gas and propane. What more could you ask for from a portable generator!!!!!!!! We love it.

We have lost power for multiple days living in the country in previous winters. Now that we have this to replace a small portable generator I had previously used, we should be much better able to weather future outtages since we will have power for wel, heat, etc. Especially like the dual fuel option.
