Although I haven't actually started it yet, I have thoroughly read the manual, and it looks to be what we were looking for. It's ruggedly built, and has the outputs to power all the basic appliances we might need to get through an extended power outage. I'm still procuring all the accessories we'll need for it. I chose Westinghouse because they have been a recognized name in quality for decades, and they stand by it with a 3 year warranty. I'm not looking forward to using it, but will be glad I have it when the time comes.

We purchased this generator to protect us during California fire season. At least we can keep our refrigerator, air filters, and Wifi running during outages. Easy to start and hook up. Running propane, never have to worry about gasoline aging or damaging engine while in storage.

I purchased another generator at first and found out it didn't have the features I was looking for. Found this generator and it has exceeded my expectations. I have enough power to run the majority of stuff in my house and an added bonus is the remote start feature.

this generator is quality built,no loose components and delivered with no damage,one day after i received it lhooked up a 20 lb. propane tank which is just as easy as the barbecue grill,it started right up no hesitation,the unpacking was very easy just install the tires,connect battery which was charged up make sure battery light is lighted,turn on run switch,turn switch to propane,push start button,starts right up,i should note that due to the ohv engine the pull cord is easy to pull,oh i forgot to mention put in the oil,i opted for using 5w30 full synthetic oil.

I purchased this generator after reviewing many others. The features that sold me is it had a 50A connection and a 3-year warranty. It is well constructed and the remote start is a nice feature. I have only had it running without a load just to check it out. This generator should be more than enough to run the majority of my home in a commercial power outage.

I bought this a month back and very happy did that. Very easy to assemble and understand. Being tri-fuel it gives more option to power home. Efficient and pretty east to operate as well. Noise lever is quite impressive in compare to others, who are very loud. Definitely tell to my family and friends more about it.

I decided to crank up my newly unpackaged generator today. The setup was easy and well documented. Once I had everything ready to go, and using the remote key fob to activate it, it cranked up readily. It was really neat. This generator has a bold and solid appearance, much like I would expect a generator to have. I started/stopped it several times, and it performed flawlessly. It has some weight on it as one might expect a generator of this size to have, but with the large wheels and retractable handle it was easy to maneuver. It purrs smoothly when idling. I am looking forward to hooking it up to my house electrical input to see how it performs carrying a load. But so far, I am impressed and pleased.

Arrived promptly. Four stars only because I've only tested it. Not yet used for a hurricane backup yet. Tested excellent. Cranked at first try. Efficient. Runs quiet for a genny. Easily handles my needs of 2 fridges, one box freezer, one sump pump. Ran off gas. Will test propane tomorrow. . I learned that I needed a new breaker box service panel and decided to have a manual transfer switch installed at the same time. I purchases the WGen 9500 for backup power to the house in the event of a power outage. The recent Kincade fire in Sonoma Co. CA caused the utility to shut down power to our area for several days. The Wgen9500 generator was used for several hours each day to warm up the house and to keep food cold/frozen in the fridge. The push-button starter feature is really nice and saves some time and labor, although I did start it with the pull-starter just to see how it would do (started easily). An excellent product. The only improvement I'd recommend on it is to beef up the muffler and make it a bit quieter so that the neighbors aren't annoyed.

First time using it for pg&e shutoffs, so far so good. We are all electric at our house and this has been running water heater,well pump, refrigerator, t.v., WiFi, etc. With no problem. Easy to set up. Gas gauge doesn't work but not worth loading up and waiting for a new one. We will contact Westinghouse for a new gauge.
