Great Generator - Lots of Power

We bought this generator after losing power three times within a two week period and it really saved us. It has lots of power, is easy to use and seems very well built. It arrived promptly and was very easy to assemble (my 16 year old daughter assembled it in about 15 minutes).

Seems great, full of features

Just received this as a gift for the holidays but haven't had a chance to use it. I plan on setting it up as a backup generator for when the power goes out but I also like that it's not a permanent generator and can be moved to another location for use.

Very pleased customer

I purchased the WGen9500DF for home power backup. Was delivered into my garage in perfect shape. Easy to assemble. My only comment is the assembly instructions said you had to connect the battery cables. My unit came with a simple plug you had to connect. Put in oil and gas and it fired right up through the electric start. Would highly recommend!!

Unwilling to honor warranty claim

Purchased the unit 6 months ago. Used it on propane until i could get a plumber out to hook it up to natural gas. Discovered an issue with the hose for the natural gas. Attempted to file a warranty claim and was denied because I no longer have the receipt

Perfect Fit for My Backup Generation Needs

I bought this unit to provide emergency backup power to my home in the event of winter power outages like the ones we experienced last year here in Texas. This unit is a perfect size to power just about everything in my house and the with the added benefit that it will run on either gasoline or propane. Also, its portable, so I can take it camping or to relatives if they are have power outage issues as well.

Great Product

Recently purchased a portable home generator and was very happy with my selection of the WGen9500DF. It was very easy to understand and the duel fuel type is perfect for my needs. I was able to get the generator up and running in 20 minutes from the removal from the box. This should allow me to run most of the necessary items in my house should we loose power. The unit was very quiet compared to other generators I have used. I hope that I will not have a need for it soon, but I feel better knowing that when the time comes I will have the means to keep my home running.

Pleased with WGen9500DF

Unboxing and setup was simple. One gripe was that there wasn't enough oil supplied to properly fill the engine. The battery came charged and started the engine easily using both gas and propane. There was a small drip coming from the fuel petcock, but went away on its own without intervention. Lastly, there should be a standard equipped energy monitor in order to calculate the amount of wattage being used so you know how much more load the generator can handle. Over all I am pleased with this product. I will leave another review after I have properly broke it in.

Great for the rolling blackouts

I bought this as an emergency back up for the rolling black/brownouts suggested to be repeated this summer and beyond. I was afraid of the weigh but I find it very maneuverable for a 74 year old. It’s easy to start and easy to keep fueled (I prefer the propane option). The WGen 9500 will easily handle my refrigeration, pool and HVAC needs during an emergency. I hope I never need to use it, but I am glad to have it

Great generator for emergency backup

We live in FL and after the 2024 hurricane season (where we lost power for a combined 12 days) - we decided enough was enough and invested in a generator. We considered an expensive whole house model, however ultimately decided that for a fraction of the cost, this model would more than meet our needs, for something we hoped to never really need. We chose this model specifically because of the tri fuel options - gas, propane, natural gas. During the hurricanes last year, finding gas was a huge ordeal - so having other fuel options was key - and since it is transfer switch ready, we can (eventually) hook this up directly to our house and power most of our home essentials.

Great product!

All parts worked well. I purchased wgen9500df generator. I had it shipped. It shipped great. The only thing is the driver did not call 30 minutes to a hour before he delivered. I had requested a call. The generator runs great. It checks out on gas and propane. The fob also starts and stops it well.
