I have only had the generator a couple of weeks, so I'm haven't needed it on an emergency basis. The generator was easy to assemble and after adding the oil with connecting the battery, the generator start right up. I started and run it with gasoline. I have had a chance to run it on propane as of yet. I have confidence that this will get me through storm and power outage types of emergencies.

I purchased this generator for a well that I have for watering cattle. We have had so many hurricanes in the past few years and power remaining out for several days. I wanted something reliable for a power source for my well. I have a Westing House generator at my house for backup power there. I like it. This generator offers a good warranty also if needed.

Purchased this unit for use with RV and have been really thrilled with it. The electric start is very nice also. Power produced is very clean and consistent and have no issues when connecting sensitive electronics. I have heard quieter generators, but for its power output capacity the operational noise is no concern to us I would definitely recommend this unit to others. My first Westinghouse product, but certainly wont be my last. Great product!

I bought in preparation of Hurricane Beryl, after testing it to see if it will meet expectations and power up a 1600 sqft home. I was very please after the test run, it met more than the expectations and its super simple to set up. The entire house was powered!! Its a must purchase!!!

It has the top features that we were looking for: Remote start, dual fuel, long running time, and brand name. Westinghouse is a name we knew we couldn't do wrong with. If you're looking for a solid unit to provide power after a storm, this is it.

I bought this product recently. I had been eyeing it for quite some time as we did have a generator from a large hardware store. That generator was only capable of supplying up to 30 amps of power, whereas this generator carried the 50amp plug. With this generator, a 50 amp cable, breaker/receptacle, I am able to power my whole house up. I was truly impressed that this generator came with EVERYTHING. Wheel kit, oil, funnel, spark plug tool, battery for the starter, remote start, and a LPG hose. They also included the owner manual, service interval guide, and a parts replacement list. You can tell Westinghouse really cares to put out an exceptional product. While nobody wants to necessarily HAVE to use a generator, I am happy to know that in the event of an outage in my area, I'm going to be one of the lucky few who can get back to "normal" within minutes, all thanks to this Westinghouse generator.

I bought this for peace of mind during power outages. It arrived as expected. Was in perfect condition. I was notified in advance of the delivery. I added the oil, connected it to a propane tank and started it right up no problems. Price was fair. I would highly recommend this generator to my friends and family.

Received this generator a few months ago, the directions and assembly guides were easy to follow and setup was a breeze. The generator started right up in all three functions, instructions were very simple. Using propane to operate this unit is very safe and less of pain to use the fuel tank. Dual fuel operation makes it way easier to use. Had a transfer switch professionally installed on the house and connected the generator to ensure it would run essential appliances during a power outage, and it was successful. Both the house and the generator performed as expected. I feel confident that this unit will provide the power needed to keep us safe for future storms to come. I would definitely recommend this unit to all of my friends and family members . PROS:The generator performed well with no problems. Started up with little to no issues. House appliances operated efficiently with zero to no affects on the generator. Start up and assembly guides were easy to follow and setup. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase - CONS:Did not attempt to turn on the house HVAC system due to concerns that it may put unnecessary loads on the generator.

When I received the unit, the shipping box was pretty beat up and when unpackaged found oil residue on battery and frame. Stained inside of box. Called customer support and left multiple messages (for a week), and never got a return call. Hope this is not an indication of what type of support to expect for future issues. Was able to add oil and start up first try on propane. Runs smooth and steady at 240 volts.

It worked right out of the box and the instructions were amazing. At first I couldn't get the electric start to work, but I was missing the battery quick disconnect (both in the manual and on the generator). This was totally my fault. Time will tell how it works during an outage, but for now, I'm loving the features.
