Generator works great after I finally got it to start. Surprisingly, it starts quicker on propane than it does gas. I drained the battery trying to start it on gas (over 50 degrees outside) with choke and no choke, so I'm thankful it comes with a trickle charger that can be left plugged in overnight. I finally hooked up a propane bottle and it fired up immediately (no choke) at 33 degrees. Once started on propane, I have had no problems starting and running on either propane or gas - it definitely needs to be choked for cold starting on gas. The remote start is nice but I'll probably never use it - my wife will, lol! The enclosed operating manual is easy to follow. It is also a very simple 10 - 12 minute procedure to change the bonded ground wire on the inside of the alternator if needed as we did here at the ranch because of the GFCI plugs. After we got it up and running, we methodically started turning things on in the house without any issues. We have a 3300 sq. ft. (3 BR, 3 bath) house and ran the freezer and refrigerator, fire place blower/fan, had a light on in every room, a light in three closets, a light in all three bathrooms, and ran two electric space heaters, TV and the microwave - never had an issue. This unit is easily set up within minutes. I really only have two issues: 1) It was very hard to get started on gas the first time so I recommend starting on propane and you can easily switch from propane to gas and gas to propane while running, and; 2 (It takes forever to fill up because the screen on the fuel tank is so restrictive. I bought this generator about a month ago and I'm highly pleased with it. I have a 5000-watt generator that I replaced with this one. I stepped up to the 9500-watt so I could back feed into the house and get rid of the extension cords. Also the remote make the use of this generator convenient if I'm not here, no problem for my wife to start it now. Just a piece of mind. I would highly recommend this generator if you are looking to upgrade. Michael

I bought this generator 3 weeks ago. Assembly was easy and glad oil was included. Ran the generator through cycles and seems to work fine under load. My wife loves the key fob starter! She is able to start it from inside the house. Happy wife-happy life.

Bought this when I was tired of losing power multiple times per winter. Using it on propane seemed like a good idea, and it worked out well. The push button start is easy, the controls are intuitive and the manual was very easy to follow. Plenty of power to run my entire house.

I bought this generator on 7/26/24 and received it on 8/15/24, 10 days later than the original date of arrival, 8/5. The delay interrupted my schedule so I have only been able to unbox, install the wheels and read the manual. I have not run or tested the generator. My rating is based only on what I see with regard to design. Pull handle should lock in place while in use. I will upgrade the rating, after the break-in run and meter testing, if warranted. If the generator operates as it should, the price would lead me to recommend it to friends.

I have used a smaller generator of another manufacture for 15 years and wore it out. This replacement generator is so far advanced that it is like day and night to compare. The digital voltage/frequency/hour meter is so much more convenient than trying to keep records and monitor with volt meter. First startup was unbelievably smooth. Quieter than my old 6200 watt. Engine runs like singer sewing machine. Attached to garage and simultaneously ran multiple compressors, large 12 amp grinder, overhead cable winch and garage door opener without a blink. Great access for maintenance. Actually easier to move around than old smaller generator, beter engineering for wheel placement. This was a great buy!

I bought this generator last year and have had the occasion to use this multiple times since. The ease and convenience of startup and operation was very surprising and the remote start fob is a big bonus. Fold up/down handle makes it quite easy to maneuver to your desired location and tuck away to minimize the space needed.

I was waiting to review this until we lost power. That did happen and I pulled this out and hooked it up. It started easily and kept us warm and powered. I didn't think the remote was an important feature but it was really nice to be able to shut down the generator at bedtime and start it back up in the morning without having to go out in the cold and rain.

We bought this generator after a major hurricane. Our neighbors have one and it runs their entire house. We jumped on board and bought one ourselves because we have a well and need electricity to get running water. It was very easy to put on the legs and wheels and to start up for the first time. We love it because it is a duel fuel and sometimes it’s really had to find gas so the option for propane as backup is great. I really like how it has a remote start and push to start so we don’t have to go out and mess with it in the rain.

Purchased this generator to replace one that had a lot of issues. Read reviews and decided this is what I needed to help through hurricane season. So far very satisfied with this purchase and how we are using this. Love the three fuel options as getting gasoline after a storm can be a challenge.
