Damaged in box

I had been eyeing this smoker for a while and finally bought it a few weeks before Thanksgiving. It took about a week to get here which is understandable considering the size of the box. However is arrived damaged. I reached out to customer service who gave me three options. First option was to return the smoker and get a refund since there wasn’t any in stock. Second option was to submit a request to the manufacturer to get replacement parts. Third option was to get a partial refund so that I could “take care of it myself.” I picked the second option and provided pictures (included) of the parts that were damaged. I was told that the manufacturer would respond to the clam within 7-10 business days. I waited almost 2 months and still hadn’t heard anything back. Customer service stated that the manufacturer hadn’t responded. I then asked for my third option of a partial refund since it seemed like the manufacturer was never going to respond. Customer Service stated that was not an option and my only option was to return the smoker. After my wife spoke with a manager we did receive a partial refund. Because of the damage I have yet to see the full potential of the smoker. I was really excited for this smoker but the manufacturer did not honor the warranty and replacement policy.

I have tried for over 3 days to purchase this grill and it can not be ship to my street address or to any other sams club in Missouri. When it was on sale it was out of stock as soon as it went off sale it said "in stock shipping only". I have been waiting on this grill for over 3 months to come back in stock. But it can't be shipped to any place in Missouri. I was on the phone with Sam's club customer service for over 2 hours. With "advocates" that could barley speak English. Each time they stated we are going to connect you to some one that can help you. Please wait on the line. Where i would be disconnected after 10 to 15 minutes of waiting. I went to sams club today and talked with 2 managers. And was told the grill can not be shipped and isn't really available. I need to call 1800- Walmart and complain to them for the miss leading product. I am very disappointed of the service from Sams Club all the way around.

I got it 2 days ago, and the building was a bit hard but easy and the cooking was fantastic! I had an offset when I started but this grill is fantastic and I can’t wait to cook more things with it.

Cooks great but is too heavy and difficult to move

I haven't cooked on it a lot but what I've done so far has been great! I have no complaints about the quality of the grill. The only real downside to this grill is that it's very heavy. It only has wheels on one side so to move it one must lift the handle on one side and its so heavy that at 64 I can barely move it. it needs to be redesigned with 4 wheels.

Great So Far

I haven't ever used a smoker before and got overwhelmed deciding which one to purchase. Came across this the last day it was on sale and took the plunge. Delivery was great. The service maybe even over communicated about the delivery date and time. Multiple emails and texts were sent. Assembly: easy enough for 2 old people (too heavy for just me!) There were extra screws and other parts included, which is good because one screw got dropped and went into a separate space/time-continuum. Useage: I wanted something easy for my first run just to figure out how everything worked. Chicken wings came out great because I followed an online recipe instead of listening to my husband. Good smokey flavor and didn't take that long. (under an hour) 2nd cook: spare ribs. They also came out great because I followed a 3-2-1 online recipe instead of listening to my husband. Good smokey flavor, came off the bone easily without totally falling apart. That's all I've cooked so far. I want to try a brisket next (and will again ignore my husband's suggestions.) I may allow my husband to make jerky on a less expensive cut of meat because he seems determined to overcook whatever goes in the smoker. Note: he never used a smoker either, which is why I ignore his "expertise" So far I'm very happy with this smoker. It does give a very good smokey flavor when only using pellets (Sam's blend). I may try charcoal/wood chunks at a later date. I'm wanting to do reverse sear steaks on the induction burner to see how that works too.

Anyone else have a shipping issue?

So my son ordered this smoker last tuesday 3/18/25 and the fedex tracking says its been delivered at cutomer location for pickup in OH. We live in Tn the estimated arrival was 2 days later. I have contacted sams club and memebers mark and fedex and still have no answer of where is my sons smoker and when will he recieve it. I feel its a scam cause noone can give us an answer. Everytime i call they keep saying the same thing and there in another country how do they know whats going on here in America? Anyone have any suggestions. Memebers mark said they would replace it and now its saying the same thing. What do u think is going on? Sams club says its a fedex issue fedex says its sams club issue. Whos issue do u think it is?
