- 5 out of 5 stars review3/14/2026Two Epson ET 4950 printers from Sam club with 4 tech support guys, still cant print. Grab this HP 7002 and it works flawlessly with no tech support. Stick with Samsclub. Easy return and good deal.
Less headache than Epson printers
Samsclub - 1 out of 5 stars review3/18/2026I have had this printer for a while now connectivity has always been an issue. I have to go thru all of the steps over and over again every few days in order to print. I do NOT recommend this printer and can not wait to purchase something else.
Do not bother with this if you'd like to actually
STEPHANIE - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/1/2024HP 7002 Smart Tank printer was delivered when promised, was well packaged, and in good condition. Installation instructions were lacking for hard-wired hook-up. Found info on HP's website. Have been using the printer for a couple of weeks now and am happy with the quality of printouts and the function of the printer. Based on my experience, I would recommend this printer to others.
Satisfied customer.
MOdenny - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/15/2024Printer arrived on time as scheduled. Printer was very easy to unpack and setup, as per the instructions, which were simple to follow. We have been using it now for about a month and all is working perfect. My only real complaint is it is a bit noisy when printing, not overly but noisier than my old one.
Great Printer at a Great price
Kevin L - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase12/11/2023Great printer for home office. I'm replacing an Epson Ecotank that died with similar features. Larger paper capacity and better price than its Epson competitor (with the same features). This model has two-sided printing, but the model number is unique to Sam's Club only. That's a trend now to keep customers from comparing prices. Nice app features for phone, so I don't mind the smaller LCD display on the printer. Print speed and quality is great so far.
Great printer for home office
MrWizard - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase12/2/2023So far so good. Prints well and fast and I like the fact that it included a nice supply of ink. Not sure how long the ink will last, but hopefully I don’t go through it as quickly as I have gone through ink cartridges. It was much harder to setup than any of my past printers and it took much longer than I would have like it to.
Prints well but setup was not easy
14KJ - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase10/15/2023This is the second HP Smart Tank printer I’ve purchased . This one I purchased for our daughter going to college. Knowing that she will have a lot of papers that will have to be printed. This will give her the perfect support piece to make sure all of her projects will get done. The knowledge of knowing that the ink will last what feels like indefinitely is exactly what’s needed for that college student.
HP Smart tank is GREAT
kas - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase10/31/2024Not Happy with HP!!! Had to purchase this new printer because, without prior warning, HP demanded that I MUST buy ink from them or they "froze" my perfectly fine printer (still under warranty). Is this even legal? And after I have been a loyal HP customer for years, i.e. everything in my house/office is HP. - PC's, laptops, printers. Wouldn't you think they'd have to advise you BEFORE PURCHASE that they require you to join their ink program or your printer is useless?
Very Unhappy with HP
Skip - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase8/24/2024To me this product is cheaply made. When opening the flatbed lid, it creeks and sounds like the hinges are going to break; it is next to impossible to pull out and close the paper drawer to load paper. I thought I’d overlook those issues and use anyway, but there were no instructions for connecting to WiFi. Wasted tons of time on this. Not for me!
Not For Me
Quality over Quantity - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/20/2023Easy set up and use. Love the 3 years of ink that’s included. As a teacher, I wanted quality print outs to use in my classroom without the worry of running out of ink at the worst possible moment. Refills of ink are much less and long lasting over cartridges.
Print without the worry
LC - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/20/2024We are having issues with this printer. We have had a tech work on it but it will not stay connected to the Wifi. We have even tried another Wifi service. We have another tech coming and if he cant fix it we'll be returning it. The first tech felt that there is something wrong with the printer but want to be sure.
Not happy
Tom - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/4/2026Simple setup and easy software installation. Within 20 minutes I was up and printing from 3 devices. Highly recommended.
Very easy to setup and use

Exceptional Printer
DougOriginally posted onhp.com - 1 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/4/2026The HP app does not work at all on my computer and I can only send jobs and utilize the printer through the app on my phone. Absolutely terrible
Connectivity
ZaneOriginally posted onhp.com - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/4/2026Regular print jobs are fine. Setup was an unnecessary disaster. Support for common but unusual print jobs poor.
Regular printing jobs fine
JCarlinOriginally posted onhp.com - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase9/4/2026Straight out of the box, filled the ink and no issues scanning or printing from my computer and my phone!
Great printer
MarkOriginally posted onhp.com - 1 out of 5 stars review7/21/2026It only worked for awhile but now the driver is almost always unavailable. Also, when it does work, it only partially prints jobs %26 when you try to reprint, the driver is unavailable again. After spending hours online, trying to fix the issue, it still doesn't work.
It doesn't work
anonymous - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase12/17/2023HP has a truly “plug and play” installation. The printer is quiet and the product is very sturdy in its construction compared to other printers I have owned over the years. I was attracted to the idea of having a 3 year supply of ink!
Many upgraded features for modest cost.Good value
Gordon G - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase10/11/2024I love this printer. In the last 10 years I have gone through 6 printers. I print a lot of color sheets for my embroidery designs, and this printer will be so much better because I won't have to buy 50 cartridges for every month of printing.
